I'm working on beating the game on hardcore right now and, to be honest, I'm pretty frustrated with this game and was planning to get my 1000 and trade it in.  Today the content was released and I figured, "what the heck".  I figure a few extra achievements will be a nice break from working on the hardcore, so I spent the extra five bucks.  But no!!   There are no extra achievements with the DLC.  I would expect that from a game like Rumble Roses XX, but a military shooter like this!?  How hard would it have been to just tack on another 250 points? 

Just know that if you buy the DLC there are no additional achievements.  Personally, had I known, I would not have spent any extra money for this game.

So did you have fun playing, or do you only play for cheevos?  I'm just the opposite Whether I get to 1000 or not - it don't matter.  have fun, worry about how you rate later.

standard map packs fro COD 2-WaW, FC 2 weapons and MP pack, everything but Knights of the Nine and Shivering Isles in Oblivion, and Im sure there are quite a few other games out there, those are just the ones I know of off hand in my collection.

Map Packs generally dont come with new achievements.

I say when a DLC comes out...look it up on your computer if you can get achievements with that DLC...it shouldnt be hard to find. So you wont make that mistake again.

ah, thats true. For some reason I didnt consider map packs as DLC.

Rainbow Six Vegas did not get any extra achievement points, when Gears of War did.  I was dissapointed.  Rainbow Six Vegas 2 was the same story.  I think it depends on a lot of factors, the company's decison, the relationship they have with Microsoft, et cetera.
