Do you love the combat in Mass Effect?  It forces you into a lot of combat, and it forces you to do it very very quickly.

I didn't mind combat in Mass Effect at all my first playthrough, but forcing me to do it quickly made me hate it a bit and made it feel more clunky than before.

The other DLC is much, much better.

I wasn't very impressed with Pinnacle Station to be honest. It basically comprises of different combat scenarios as mentioned but I found it repetitive and uninteresting. There's little to no story and it also feels hastily put together and lacks the polish of BDtS. I played through it with my level 60 maxed out character and easily burnt through it within an hour or so but maybe it would be more of a challenge as a lower level character? Oh well it only costs a few quid and I'm a huge Mass Effect fan so I'm not exactly complaining, it just wasn't what I was hoping for. Those are my thoughts anyway. (Sorry for the wall of text, posting from my iPhone which doesn't like these forums).

Not really, I actually liked the gameplay of Mass Effect but in pinnacle station I found half of the modes frustrating.  A couple are fun, but are more fun in other games.  It's odd because it almost seems like Pinnacle Station is a design blueprint for a MP mode they couldn't figure out so they just released the levels as a pack.  There really isn't that much story either and the rewards aren't worth it, so I would say no.

I have heard there is going to be another DLC before they release 2, I dont know if this is still going a head as they seem to have hit alot of delays re DLC but im still waiting for that one as it is rumoured to be a bridge between the 2 games. I dont fancy the Pinnacle station thing.

Wasn't Mass Effect Galaxy (iPhone/iPod only) meant to be the bridge between the first and second game? I may be wrong and apologies if I am but I can't remember hearing of any DLC linking the two.

I think it was all a rumour tbh, it was circulated a few months back on the mass effect forums and IGN, however it seems Pinnacle station is to be the last of the DLC for the first game. Pretty poor considering all the hype of the dlc when ME was first released there was supposed to be loads.

I don't think the loads of DLC was hype. I think Bioware honestly intended to have as much DLC as was put out for Oblivion, but once they wound up under EA, they were told to get ME2 out ASAP instead of focusing on the DLC for the first game. So, bad in a sense that there wasn't really any significant amount of DLC for ME, but good in the sense that at least the sequel will be out sooner. I just hope they don't dump the idea of allowing you to start the second game with your old character.

Don't pretend your game is "challenging" because you only give me four bullets to kill eight zombie dogs with.

It's pretty boring. The modes are repetitive. The only reason I finished it was for the achievements.

Bring Down the Sky was certainly better but I didn't mind this one however there were a few things I would have done to make it better but still stay with the theme of the holodeck training thing

Have more scenario missions like surviving the Turian onslaught for 5 mins, that mission was pretty cool

Have the ability to replay certain boss encounters from the main game

Have something like Gears 2 Horde mode pick one of the maps and deal with ever increasing waves of enemies. Granted that is rather like the survival missions but survival just had 2 or 3 different types of grunts to wade through plus by the end you were just standing around waiting to die as you had more than surpassed the high score.

I agree, same here. I don't mind Pinnacle Station and I enjoyed unlocking the achievements for it but that's about it.
