I havent played the game in a long time but i think you have to get the correct amount of seeds then head back to the temple and you should get a scene and go to one of the plates (the colored one) and you will be able to go to new areas.
Three must get game for me: DragonBall Raging Blast, Assassins creed 2, and Metal Gear Solid: Rising.
