I must admit utter defeat and humilation. It is literally DEATH (easy level too). It leads me to wonder why it is not MACed to death from orbit and leave the base behind. I know there is a youtube video showing infantry occupying a tower and the immobile Scarab of DEATH keeps shooting at it. How do you do that?

If you're on easy or normal just turn on the emperor skull and mac it to death.  and use the search bar, there's dozens of threads exactly like this.

Commander's Challenge is the only XBL Arcade game worth getting.

I did a search, I can not read mexican.

1) Destroy the Power Nodes.  For each one you destroy, the head will slow down.  Of course, one of the achievements is to destroy it without taking out a node, iirc.

2) MAC it.  Just keep using the MAC.

3) Take a group of tanks or cobras up the right side of the map.  When the beam is on the left side, they can fire at it.  Make sure to use the Canister shell option if using tanks.  When the beam starts to swing back around, move the tanks into an alcove in the upper right part of the map (where the Black Box is).

Rinse and repeat till dead.

Artillery could help.

"Do a barrel roll!" Peppy Hare.

I found a really easy way of doing it.  What I did was I built and upgraded marines to max.  I sent all my marines at the scarab at once and when they got there the scarab only focused on one of the units and COULDNT KILL IT.  I used this strategy on easy and legendary and it worked both times, I dont know if its a glitch but it made beating it really easy.
