Saturday Morning Watercooler (Greatertorial)
I got Modern Warfare 2.  What else is there  to say?  Nah..kidding, lolol.  My fiancee and myself finally finished moving into our new place.  We've finally finished unpacking and cleaning up (whew!).  Now I can rest and play my games and not feel guilty about it.  Let's see..oh yeah, I'm sure you all heard about the New York Yankees smashing Philly?  Unfortunately I couldn't go to the parade because they threw it while I was at work.  Also I'm finally getting Tekken 6 today, but on the other console.  Me and one of my cousins have this ongoing rivalry in fighting games (mostly SF and Tekken).

Go Jankeez!!

I made it halfway through Modern Warfare 2, PO-ed a lot of my friends, and have been enjoying the award-winning masterpiece. I also discovered a new, awesome stand-up comedian that I like called Christian Finnigan. I'm not sure if you've guys have seen this guy before, but he wrote his fair share of gaming-related jokes.

I'm working today.  Watched SG-U last night and it's making me feel like a bit of a girl b/c it's kind of soap operah-y....but I still like it....don't judge me.  Working today and then going home to watch UT start their run to win out the rest of the season starting with Phil Fulmer's future team.  I'm hoping Bama beats LSU today b/c I can't stand Les Miles and if Bama wins it gives them two chances to beat Florida, which of course they will both times.  As far as gaming goes I'm stiiiill playing through Mass Effect for a second time and every once in a while I'm going to try to sneak in a Grid race.  My backlog at the house consists of SW:TFU, Dead Space, and Far Cry 2 so even when I get done with Mass Effect for the second time I have a lot to do before getting any new games...which is good since I'm broke.  By the way, is anyone else with me in hoping Max Payne 3 goes with a cover mechanic like R6:Vegas or Gears instead of bringing back the early 2k fad of dive-shooting?  Dude, I played Stranglehold (I know, late to the party) and I couldn't even stand to finish the first board.  And Wet?  The demo was brutal enough!!  I think every since Kill.Switch came out the cover mechanic is the way to go.  Woooowww that was a random thought thrown in there for no reason.

Broncos lost. I'm hoping they can pick it up and win later on. It's a team I had zero faith in coming into the season, and they surprised the hell out of me. I'm enjoying this season oh so much.

In game, I played the L4D2 demo and enjoyed the hell out of it, and I watched someone play MP on CoD42 and someone play through [most] of the single player. Suffice it to say, the game's story is amazing and the Multiplayer has some awesome touches that rebalance it just so much. It'll be fun times. I guarentee it.

I also played that japanese game on XNA where you're a girl in a bathing suit with a giant grappling hook.. I got frustrated halfway through and turned it off and deleted it. But it's nice for a puzzle game I guess.

Re: Saturday Morning Watercooler (Greatertorial)
My weekend has been pretty busy so far.  I've been getting some things together, because at the end of December, I'm moving in with my gamerpals K1 Scion and K4 Boxxy.  I'm just getting some legal things together, getting my college transcripts and all that, and I'll be ready to go to Houston.

On the gaming side of things... It's kind of nil.  My Xbox is still gone, and I'm missing it.  To keep me occupied, I've been reading Karen Traviss' new novel, 501st: An Imperial Commando novel, and I've been playing Legend of Zelda: Link's Awakening on my old-school Game Boy Color. >_>

When you get your 360 back, I must play HDRemix with you. Lack of SF4 has made me sad. Lack of money to buy SF4 has made me sadder.

Good news? It's going to be a platinum hit. $30.

Or you could just wait for Super SF4 which will only be $10 more
