laggy connection issues
hi , i am on virgin media 10mb broadband and i get really bad lag during games

my router is netgear WGR614 v9

but i just can't seem to fix it my xbox is wireless

There are many factors that could contribute to your lag. It could be a slow internet connection (especially during peak hours of usage), poor wireless signal between your wireless router and Xbox 360, faulty equipment such as the modem or router itself, etc.

A quick way to troubleshoot would be to connect your Xbox 360 directly to the router or the modem. At least that way you would know if you are having a wireless problem or possibly a problem with your internet/equipment. Without more information (such as wireless signal strength), these are some basic suggestions.

I think i will wire my xbox up later on and i shal tell you if its any better but also i have other people in my house using the same internet as me so could that cause the wireless to be different ? Because whenever the computer is on and the laptop it always goes laggy ...
