I've see so many users come onto the forums asking why their accounts were banned and claiming "I didn't do anything wrong" to then have it publicly posted "actually you did, and here's a list of things", so to see that they have these resources at their fingertips, assumptions should not happen.
The main reason I believe I have no had contact is because none of the moderators or staff have anything they can say, because they know they've made a mistake, but admitting the mistake and simply changing the post would have resolved this a few days ago. They are making the situation worse for themselves by not responding and simply abandoning their users when something does go wrong which they have caused.
i think the account does belong to you or you wouldn't be on about it so much
