Well, I have my XBOX 360 has not much time, and I am planning to join XBOX LIVE, but I'm afraid of losing my Off-Line account, which has 2,800 gamescore. If I join XL I will have to start over with all the games?

You can just enable the offline profile so that it will be able to play on xbox live.

on the console, Sign in the offline profile then press the guide button. Click on join xbox live then follow the instructions.

Yup! And when you come to the subscription plan option in the sign up process, remember to click "I don't want Gold right now", instead select the silver membership option. You will be promted with a message about a Free 1 month xbox LIVE Gold trial which you can redeem there and then.
