Opinions on DLC pack
im not sure if this is worth it, seeing its 2 FTE's, which were 15 mins in the game and 4 (i think ?) new maps.  Im on the fence because this pack it seems to be mp focused, and mp was a let-down for me(lag, respawn,  amount of maps).

So for all those that have downloaded it, please anwser these questions:

1.How long are the 2 FTE? better than the 6 shipped with the game?
2. are the maps good?  Better than the 4 that came with the game?
3.have a lot of people downloaded it?  because i dont what 100 people that downloaded

i still want to experence these maps and FTE, its just that if its not worth it, ill just wait till its free or deal of the week, and i think the online maybre dead once that happens (hope not)

thanks

Re: Opinions on DLC pack
As I see it.. 2 of the 4 maps are the day/night free roam and the other 2 a little mini missions.
I havent notices any more maps on the mp but thats cos its cr@p and I haven't looked into it..
Its still laggy and the gun barrels shake all over the place and the choppers are a barsteward to handle. This is ok in sp free roam tho.

It costs about £3..

Re: Opinions on DLC pack
of course considering the original was so lacking I think it should have been free.
I could care less for the FTM(haven't played any of them)
or Free roam which is a whole 5min oh ah thing thing then done with.

The MP map are well worth the 3 bucks. Better maps in general compared to shipped versions.
They're bigger more terrain lends to more choices to. Vehicles and squads balances out PLA and USMC.
overall makes for better engagements gives more to tactical side of the game.

the patch did fix quite a few things, but if your on a bad host your always going to have problems.
I'm almost a officer in rank so I've played plenty of ranked. The ping meter has nothing to do with it.
if it is jumping around alot chances are it's not going to be good. My highest scoring game was a brit host
with no bar while live in US.

Re: Opinions on DLC pack
Get it while it's hot.  It's only 400 points.  It probably won't be deal of the week at 200 points anytime soon, and the game will be less populated by then.

I am liking the Skirmish pack so far.  If it were 800,  I probably would not have bought it at all.

I have seen a LOT of Annihilations on the new maps,  not too much Infiltration, and usually a match or two in mission mode.  The White Fang mission is pretty good, although I haven't completed it.  I can barely get the Helo off the ground(need a good FAQ on how to fly a helo in this game lol).

Good plan of MS/CM, price it low enough so people say, "Hey, it's only 400, why not." and thus reward the machine for charging for what was claimed to be there in the first place. I just can't bring myself to do that. It sounds like great features, features that should have been included. I'll spend my 400 elsewhere.

Ill probably pick this up later on, like you I dont really give a damn about the free roam, as with all free roam games the exploration aspect gets boring after a couple minutes.  Bonus missions I play once in a while just some practice.  MP Im having a blast though, and still getting used to the maps so Ill probably get this later on.

PS is Dai a clan or anything like that as I was playing someone named Dai Boy or something the other day, mightve been coincidence but was weird.  Didnt know if Dai was a clan or not

A 9 MB Code to unlock stuff already on this game is not worth it IMO.  I'll wait for it to be free.  Paid for a complete game but not paying any extra.  Good game but developers are not the best.

Fire Team Engagements - Additional 'one-off' missions.

6 Were unlocked with bonus codes when the game was released and there are 2 more in the Skirmish pack (4 if you count the 2 Free-Roam 'missions').

Re: Opinions on DLC pack
Alot of people have been hard on this game and justifiably so, it was VERY raw when it released so I bought the DLC and hoped for the best and I have to admit that I'm pretty satisfied. The game is MUCH more playable now, the vehicle controls are alot tighter and I haven't seen any of the ridiculous stuff that were in the game before the patch so I'm very satisfied and I'll deff. be playing this for awhile.

Sounds like the patch addressed only on-line then, as I see no change at all for SP.

Re: Opinions on DLC pack
their were a few bugs fixed in SP but just location specific glitches.
mainly the hit detection, vehicle physics. as long as your on a good host everything works.
You'll still loose control breaking at high speeds. helps to drive like you would a real vehicle
