A Gamer Search Engine + More Defined Profiles
Really, if there was a system that allows us to add people depending on our location of where we live. Or maybe a more define critiria for profiles to let people know more about us. The small limit we have now is kind of not enough to let people know truly who we are as a person and a gamer. Really maybe some sub section such as religon, orientation, ect ect. Doesn't have to be detail things like this is a dating or Coughs3xcough site. But for more intimate gamers who see XBox live and this forum as a second home to hang out with people. It'll be great to get to know people more.

Then we could then look up people depending on their interests and likes. Making it a better community to play games with. You know it would be awesome to actually meet more "females" or "Enthic" people to play some games such as halo with. IMO Interactions is key to some people when playing games. I mean some people like to play RPGs and some other types alone, but you know for mostly multiplayers or people who want to say watch a movie on netflix or chill in a party while talking to friends and playing different games at the same time. If we could increase the capababilities of making it easier for people to gain friends we could really boom and increase with a lot of activity when it comes to friends.

LMAO Big Smile [:D]

As of now the only way we add people are Forums/Sites, Random gameplay, Random name imput, and friends we already establish in real life and their friends. GIVE US MORE OPTIONS AND WAYS TO MAKE FRIENDS! Please? *Puppy eyes*

That most likely will not happen. This is a gaming service, I don't care about religion, race, gender, orientation, income or any other factors. And besides, once you add that ability you open up a whole new can of worms to deal with.

Now if they were to incorporate a section where you could check of what genres of games you play that would be nice. RPG, FPS, Arcade, Platform, TPS, Racing, Fighters, etc...

If you haven't already, take a read through the Account Suspensions Forum and you'll see why it is not a good idea and to give yourself a laugh for the day.

Sorry I didn't mean to send that as a PM. I hit the wrong button. Still new to this forum thing. <<;;;

LMAO What you like, is what you like. But yea, you're right maybe it should be more gamer oriented. Like by game type, game titles and activity. Though there are some gamers who does play for more then a sport or fun, some see gaming as a second life though that really doesnt help. Heck the idea might cause more harm then good if I really think about it, maybe I should take this idea back. Naw. It's only a wish.

The bad part would be for molestors, rapist, and pedofiles take advantage of this idea. Though it already being done on other social network, not like one more to join is going to get that bad. Or I hope not. Maybe a age limit should be in place too. Or even so, just for the forum is good. Doesn't have to be for XBL

They actually have a website (not through MS) that can search and compare you to other gamers.

Check out http://zaamit.com/friendfinder/

Of course it's not as in depth as how you explained, but it compares games played and such for compatible matches. Worth checking out if you haven't seen it already.

Not sure if they are being biased (although it is an Xbox 360 site), they are just saying that you haven't played enough games yet to be properly compared to other players.

Re: A Gamer Search Engine + More Defined Profiles
I kind of agree with his idea for more detailed profiles, except for religion.  That's an entire can of worms that doesn't need to be opened.  I can just see people refusing to play with gamers of  "blank" religion.  However, I would like to be able to enter age and city into my profile to be able to be matched up with gamers close to my age and in the same city.  I'm 31, and nothing irritates me more than getting beat on a daily basis by 12 year olds who do nothing other than play video games.  Not to mention unleash a cascade of vitrolic trashtalk featuring nothing but rascism and homophobia that would have driven my parents to rightfully smack the crap out of me if I said anything like that as a child.  Seriously, doesn't anyone discipline their children anymore?

  Maybe create a gamer zone for people with careers and wives.  I'm a busy man, with a job, a wife and a house, and soon, a baby.  I don 't have time to play COD4 for 12 hours a day, nor the inclination to trash talk people who aren't as good at a games as I might be..  Admittedly, I suck at a lot of games.  But I like to play and have fun.  It would be nice to be grouped up with people my age and maturity.  Maybe in the same city, for the possibility of some offline get-togethers.

Yea I agree, the age thing should be a must so we know who we're playing with. I really dont like playing with little kids with no maturity.
