Personally, a RIG avatar would be so sick.  And a plasma cutter for an accessory would be badass too.

I agree on both counts.  But I think I've already heard that they won't be permitting weapons such as guns or plasma cutters.  Although the games themselves are violent bloodbaths, XBL must remain a family friendly place.  Funny situation, huh?

Technically a plasma cutter is a miner tool.    But that won't stop them from disallowing it.

Yeah, the rig would be sweet.  Most of these avatar accessories seem like a waste of money, but I might buy a rig.  An avatar award would be cool too.  Though I don't know if that would be possible.  Could they send out an update to add awards, or could awards only be implemented in new games.  Cause this seemed like such a good idea, but the only game I've heard of that has avatar awards is splosion man, a friggin' arcade game.

I don't know, but I would assume popularity.  They are going to put accessories out there that people are going to want to buy.  This game doesn't seem like it got the hype that it deserved.  I hardly even knew about it until it was thirty dollars new, so this might not be their first choice for accessories.  But it shouldn't be that hard to accomplish, whether or not it is as popular as halo or something like that.

If you are referring to the dlc suit, I disagree.  I would rather have the original suit.  Although, I don't know if I would buy it anyway.  It will probably look retarded just like the CoG armor from Gears of War.  I don't know what they were thinking.  The armor is so small.  In the game, the armor looks really bulky.  And yet, on your avatar, your still super skinny, and the helmet is enormous.  Your like a friggin' blow pop.  That is not how the armor is supposed to look.  If it weren't for that, I might have bought the CoG armor.  And I'll bet the rig will look just as retarded.

Ever since I read this thread I've just been constantly thinking about and wanting a rig. Is there any way to get microsoft to notice the demand for this? Any way to petition or email them or anything? Cause this is starting to drive me crazy, I WANT A RIG.

Yea Im referring to the dlc suit, why because two reasons:
1. Its awesome (plus it was a free suit when the game first came out)
2. Its an Xbox 360 exclusive so making it an avatar item would be kinda like... another exclusive of some sort... I guess,

But I guess I would take the regular rig if they were to come out with it. But I will agree that the COG armor isnt bulky compared to the game. But for the rig I dont believe it should really matter because the suits are not that bulky in the game so it should be ok looking without being too skinny.


Plus a necromorph plush doll would be a perfect addition to the rig. lol!

got back into the game today. and avatar items would eb awesome. after reading through the thread. one i would sighn the petition for the RIG on market place aslong as its the fully upgraded version which is awesome, secondly i do wonder how they allow COG and locust armour as a miner suit is so much more human like and they dont allow none human like itemson the market place. Also i do think the plasma cutter would be cool but they wont allow it even tho they have a Halo warthog which is a prime killing machine for the UNSC and they allow thelightsaber which is theprime killing tool of starwars and also they allow skateboards which are the prime weapon of a skater ;) therefore meaning the plasma cutter would be as family friendly as them even tho their intent ingame may be much more.
