First of all: People, please don't call me a modder because I play MW 2 a few days before it's released. I get a few messages saying I must have a modded Xbox and play flashed games. That's bullsh*t. I can prove that I got an original copy of MW 2. The gamestore where I buy my games got every game a few days before the official release. So they had MW at Novembre the 5. and the Postman delivered it to my house at Novembre the 6. I allways wondered how fast they are (while they are mostly 10 - 20% cheaper than other gamestores), but I'm shure that's not the only gamestore which got games such early. Today when I went online at MW 2 the first time and checked out the MP I've seen some players with lvl. 40 and more - I wonder how early must THIS persons have the game, I guess they play it since septembre or what....?

Anyway, MW is a great game. I've played a few hours in the singleplayer now and some of the missions are really nice. There's a lot of new weapons and they sound way more powerfull like they did in CoD 4. It seems the weaponsounds got much more bass now (thanks Infinity Ward, byebye cheap CoD 4-weapon-sound!) and so it's no more longer a silent, sweet "glickglickglick" when you fire a heavy machinegun, it's more of a "RATTATTATTA" and so they made it sound more realistic. The steering is CoD typical perfect and it's still the only first person shooter- series which is running with ultrasmooth 60 fps while the graphics are such great.
The MP is very good too, some new perks, new challenges and a score system with multiple ways to score and many different ways to get a scorebonus. Some of the maps are very nice like the one in the airport, I think they did an absolut great job with the mp.
Maybe the biggest surprise in the whole game is - attention, little spoiler! - that you can use some weapons double handed. I thought I'm dreaming when I've found double uzi's the first time by a killed enemy. It's the first CoD ever where you can use some Akimbo weapons - and you don't find only double uzi's. Later in the game you will find more Akimbo weapons like double pistols and double sawed shotguns (!) - may the splatter festival begin lol!
The second little surprise is when you start the game they ask you if you will have the option to skip a level later in the game because it could be you can feel offended because of it. And I'm a owner of the uncut UK version, not a cut version. I can't remember I've seen such things in a uncut version, so I guess it must be a really freaking bloody story part. I decided to play this level (of course :-) and I switched the skip option off so the game didn't show me at which level I have the skip option. But I'm pretty shure they mean the airport level. After I played this level I understand why they gave us the skip option. This is a kind of stuff which is maybe too hard for some people, but enough said, make yourself a opinion about it.

The only thing what is not so nice is that the colours in the game are not very intensive, you must switch to a very high colour setting at your TV to have strong colours in the game. But that's not so bad, more bad than this could be that some things in the MP have changed. So you can play as a lvl. 1 beginner with the 50 Cal. when you choose the sniper class. In CoD 4 this was the most wanted sniper and you must reached a very high rank to get it. The other problem with the MP are the (too many?) different ways for mass destruction (airstrike, heli, B 52 attack...). I'm not shure if they was a good idea to take so many kinds of powerfull mass destruction in the game, hope it don't damage the gameplay/balance too much.

yeah theres people on my friends list with this game too, i cant wait to get it at mid-night, looks like xbox 360 aint slacking with the graphics anymore...

but besides activision, why doesnt UBISOFT re-release farcry instincts pred with a call of duty online multiplayer ( you know, NO LAG) and with new levels, that would be the REAL farcry 2 and 3

oh yeah, CRYSIS 2 is comming to xbox360, which is basically gonna be FARCRY 4

Never heard about Perfect Dark 64 will comming to xbox live arcade......are you shure about that? Anyway, since a few days it doesn't matter for me which games will come the next time. I play Trials HD now cause I tested the demo last friday and Snowman told me how f*cking great this game is. So I bought the full game a day later and since I get it I'm addicted to it badly. I don't even play MW 2 too, I got no time anymore lol!

You know what? Every 5 or 10 years a very special game comes out which let you don't stop playing. I talk about games of a class like Mario, Zelda or FCIP . This is one of these games. It got absolut perfect gameplay, perfect bike physics and really great, competetive and some ultrahard racetracks. And a track editor for building your own race/trialtracks. And one of the best: You can watch all the replays of the top ranked riders to see how this insane b*tches rides like the devil on coke over the hardest tracks. H*ll, those are some crazy a** motherf*ckers, it's unbelievable what they do with the bike and I allmost must laugh for minutes when I watched this crazy sh*t hahaha!
Maaan, this game should be forbidden. Once you get it you get addicted to it.....
