 so i bought the special package that xbox had that included kung fu panda and lego indeana jones about a year ago and its been working great

   and i heard about this program or update something called jasper which is supposed to dramaticly reduce red rings of death chance

and i am not quite the technical guy so im unaware if my little bundle includes this jasper because modern warfare 2 is coming out in 3 days and im probably going to be playing for about 3000 hours give or take and i got red rings paranoia

What is the date and type of console?
Most new elite consoles have jaspers, but yours sounds like one that is earlier. (i think some pro consoles have them too now).

As long as you keep your xbox safe from overheating it should be fine, just look out for the warning signs of game freezes etc. Also, most fans are not worth getting if you are that paranoid.
