Avatars and add on's are you all mad?
Why? Oh please why? would anyone spend good money to have their Avatar with, any kind of stupid add on bits, light sabre, hat, cod theme, etc etc.
Is it me? or am I missing something?
Don't care, seems sad to me.

I got 6 Avatar Awards recently, and the only other stuff I have bought it the Cog Helmet and Cog Costume for my Avatar. That was only because I had spare Microsoft Points on my Account that I wasnt using for anything.

I don't buy avatar awards but then if someone elses buys them why would i care?

I think its more sad your bothered enough to post this thread. Buying a avatar award takes on click on your xbox controller. Making a whole thread about it requires you to log into the forum and start a whole new thread.

If you don't wan them...dont buy them...SIMPLES. I don't like supermarket southern fried chicken..SO I DON'T BUY IT.

Re: Avatars and add on's are you all mad?

I don't mind buying little things for my avatar if I've got the points for it, I usually look for general clothing more than anything else.  I've not found any props that interest me.

They're not forced on anyone and people don't need to buy them, they're just an optional thing and a nice little personal touch.

Yes, yes you should. Wink [;)]

But like the other peeps have said if you have spare points over then why not, that's what I did although I probably won't buy anything else until the christmas avatar clothes become available. I seriously hope they will, want to dress like Rudolf without the fear of people pointing and laughing.

I just see a new theme and think "Ooooh, that's cool." Then I get bored of it after a week. From now on I am just going to buy a theme when it is amazing, after checking on the internet. Same with avatar clothes.

I was tempted to get the Wallace & Gromit premium theme but something tells me that it's going to be rubbish lol makes me curious. It's the same with some of the avatar items but i'm happy with what i've bought already, for now.

I was actually planning to buy some (the star wars ones) but didnt have enough points.

The more the better i say, even though i never buy premium themes etc im glad they are there. It can only improve the service and little things like the avatar clothes etc give it that extra touch. If its your thing its your thing.

The more we can watch, download and listen to on live the better Smile [:)]

i went all out and spent all my MS points on a Roxy hoodie and shoes Surprise [:O] i have a bit of a hoodie fetish, so it seemed fitting :p

i think the props etc are pretty cool, but it's insane how some of them cost almost as much as some dlc and games. reason why i wont be spending any more on the avatar marketplace :/

Pure dead brilliant by the way!

Virtual tramps are awesome as well lol.

Well I just couldn't resist this striking red cardigan so I bought it and I also bought the Wallace & Gromit premium theme, which is a tad rubbish. So that was a waste of points.

Yes, I am mad, sad and stupid but only a tad. o_O

I think I may have found someone who echos my thoughts exactly. It is totally sad but then you do have all these sad losers who still like playing with dollies. If I have some spare points I would spend them on something for 1 of my games not on a pathetic Avatar.

Ok Toe I have been saying all along the Avatar Marketplace is the biggest waste of space ever created. It is just another way for MS to scr3w us for money. And it is a place where losers who still like playing with graphicless dollies and with more money than sense spend real money on dressing up some ugly hideous monstrosity.

If these came out I would buy them and they are: A plastic bag to stick over its grotesque head, a full body bag, a COFFIN or a noose with gallows.

I've earned my money & i'll spend it however i want, personally i'd rather spend a few quid here & there on frivolous avatar stuff than buy MW2.

People like these things. They allow some customisability for their consoles, and they're welcome to buy addons should they want. I love themes and Gamerpics, for example. Avatars? Not so much, but I can easily see why people do like them.

Josh totally agree with you. But unfortunetly that want get us anywhere since all MS care about is the minority and how much they can scr3w from us. And they have an unhealthy obsession with these monstrosities.

MP I would much rather spend my spare points on a Gamerpic or my beautiful Lara Coft theme and things for my games than some grotesque graphicless dollie.
