i got banned on sunday the 8th of november for no apparrent reason i called xbox live customer support and they said they couldnt tell me why or could not take the ban off i realize i got some games early and played early online but that is not my fault that some retailers let the games out earlier than others i personnally feel that i was sent a lot of complaints because of playing some games early and absoulutely punishing people on some particular army games like call of duty people are just jealous losers hey if your not good at games get over it and dont play em

If you can provide a receipt for the products that you have played early, then there is no problem as they know you weren't using pirated software then.

If you can't, bye bye LIVE.

(Generally, MS know if you have a legit copy that you are playing early... so obviously you have done something wrong)

why dis him on his gamerscore when yours isnt that good?

before you try pickin people off for that make sure yours is the biggest in the park.

My console got banned on the 8th of november.I dont know why my console got banned.I just brought my 360 two months ago Brand New from Game Stop.Its not moded (what ever that means) I have three games which I have and that I also brought from game stop.You can check my profile and see that.I work very hard like other customers and I am really,really pissed off that my console got banned and that BILL GATES company cant tell me why. This is Microsoft company is really unprofessional and they just banned a console that is brand new and they dont even want me to mail it in to them so they can see that it is nothing wrong with it.This is a way to get more money for the company.Your console get banned they tell you to BUY another one and I guess they will banned that one to,and then they will say buy another one.This is real crazy.I wonder if MAC will come out with a system.I guese i'll be banned from this forum for saying MAC

Consoles can be suspended from Xbox LIVE for a number of reasons including, but not limited to:

• Console tampering: Physically opening the Xbox and modifying it to play illegitimate software.
• Online fraud: Attempting to social engineer users, take over Xbox LIVE accounts, or other fraudulent activities.
• Repeat egregious violations: Multiple actions taken on accounts on the console by the Enforcement team for disrupting the service or impacting users.

Your console being banned isn't limited to illegitimate gameplay. You can post in the Account Suspensions forum, but the response is really limited.

BAM! and the dirt is gone!

The people who give out a game say before its originally released(game store managers, etc) should know better than to do that...having to replace a console is pretty lame because of it.
Also the people who recieve such games should be content with playing it offline in campaign mode till the actual game is world wide officially released.

As has been mentioned many times before if you have a ligitimate copy (bought from store) then you have nothing to worry about by playing online early. The only reason to wait until the official release date is for when the community actually gets going. I'm sure the legal repurcussions of bricking the consoles of ligitmate users would cost M$ too much hassle and I haven't heard of any cases of Console bans being lifted or anyone complaining to fair trading regarding a ban so despite all the 'think of poor little timmy' stories I think M$ are most likely hitting the right consoles. With the only innocents being those people who have potentially purchased a second hand console and found it's perma-banned. But as with everything, you get what you pay for.

You modded your console to play burnt games, you took the risks and you got banned. Get over it and stop whining.
