EB Price Matching Question
Just a quick question to ask those of you in the know as whether EB will price match COD MW2 on the release day?  My better half put down some money to pre-order a copy a month or two ago and I don't really want to pay $118 as they have advertised when Kmart, BigW are selling for around $80!

Thanks in advance.

Re: EB Price Matching Question
Yep. Just take in proof of Kmart/BigW's price and then ask for them to price match. Provided the store you're matching has a copy in stock, you'll be fine.

Btw, you can cancel pre-orders for a full refund.

Re: EB Price Matching Question
My mate who works in a medium sized Kmart said they got 10 copies for PS3, and 8 for 360. If you're there first thing in the morning you may be able to match the price, but with those sort of numbers stock's going to be very limited for pricematching.

Re: EB Price Matching Question
Thanks for the help, good to know about the full refund as well. I suppose if they at least match JHiFi I will be happy.

Cheers

Re: EB Price Matching Question
Is it usual for EB employees to get all shitty when you ask to price match?

No, my EB (Southland, VIC) never get pissed when I price match and I do it all the time.

So does that mean that the hardened edition ppl (like me) are stuck with the $118?

Re: EB Price Matching Question
Any decent EB store won't even bother to check stock levels, they'll just do it to save hassle and keep you happy. My store doesn't bother calling up..

I'm getting the Prestige for $185.. just asked for a better price and presto. Those getting the hardened might want to do the same.. or price match DSE they got it for $99. Take a printout of their website in.
