I don't have my 360 connected to the Internet, so I need to download the update onto a disk... I've been on this website: http://www.xbox.com/en-US/games/backwardscompatibility.htm but there doesn't seem to be a link?? Can I upload the $SystemUpdate_Fall09_8955.zip update, that I found on a different part of the xbox website, or do I need to have BackCompat_11-2007.zip update? If so, where is the link?!?! I just want to be able to play my original xbox games... ugh. so complicating. Thanks!

I would think they only allow updates to be done via the console over Live.

Yeah it did.... For some reason I couldn't burn the file to disk using Vista, but I pulled out my laptop and used XP and burned it to CD... and it worked. I tested out Xbox Lego Star Wars and wah-lah!
