34 in 2 days so I guess I qualify for dad's army. I've been "hangin'" at the forum linked below, group of mature and mainly older gamers - regular game sessions with non-spackers FTW. Thumbs pimped the site a couple of pages ago, but I'll pimp it again..

As proof that I am going senile I made myself play Yank Brats all day on ranked in an effort to get the 100 kill shotgun achievement on GOW,....................Except as it was pointed out to me after I got about 60 kills that there is no 100 kill shotgun achievement............so tonight Im going for the 100 kill Lancer achievement...................

Well little fellow, you have just made a perfect example of why we DONT want to play with little boys like you.  Litsening to a 15 year olds voice who's balls have not dropped whilst playing online is like fingernails scratching down a blackboard.  And you would know what that is like, going back to school this week. We are probably up playing much later than your bed time anyway.

Last week got a fr, excepted it, asked me if i wonted to play R6V coop, i said no prob, what time? He replied, bout 9pm, was the same day Crackdown demo was released. Ireally wanted to dl crackdown, but thought new friend wants to play coop, thats what ill do. About 8.30 sent him message, asking their age, he replied 14, my son turns 12 wednesday, but thought ok only 14, what the heck ill play. Just before 9pm got a message from him, cant play tonight, see u tommorow. Got another message from him, sorry i couldnt play, mum doesnt wont me up late, this close to going back to school. I just got stood up by a 14yr old boy(its not as sick as its written!). Me and my wife, crapped our selves laughing. Thats why i wanna play with the big boys and girls, they can stay up as late as they wont, any day of the week.

My writing skills suk, big time, so what, im 38, get over it, i did.

It's all relative. So when N64 was the latest and greatest, being good at those games meant something. Of course now technology has improved, the games are more involved, so people look back and think, "That old console game was easy/boring". I remember playing Halo and thinking Legendary difficulty was hard, now it's a breeze. The point is, you're calling a group of people that have been playing games before you were born, "noobs", and all you've got to show for it is 2 years worth or gaming.

Yes I understand what you mean about halo being hard now iys easy but come on could beat any n 64 game I had easy ive been gaming for about 7 years but the last 2 have been where I have emersed myself in gaming so I call them my gaming years but still I dont believe they could beat me but anyway ill stop calling them noobs becouse you make a good point.

You enjoy it. I'm damn sure that if I was your age, many moons ago now, that I would be *** bent on gaming too. If XBOX LIVE was around when I had the time to play, I would definately have had my Mum come round telling me to go to bed 'cause it's a school night, etc, etc.

This is called a full stop -> . ; use it to break up your posts into sentences. It makes it easier to read.

This is an apostrophe -> '   ; You can use it to signify a contraction. Eg "I have" becomes "I've". Not ive. And "ill" is what you are when you need a doctor.

If you go to your local library, you'll find something called a 'dictionary'. Use it to look up the spelling of "immersed".

For our next lesson, I'll teach you about 'paragraphs'. If you pay head to my lessons, maybe you'll even make manager at McDonalds one day, and not have to serve me fries with that. This is my point I dont see how you guys can play when your in your late 20 - 30's I mean its fun but why do it your whole life.
