True, let' face it, that 45 degree camera pitch on SVR09 when you get out the ring is bloody annoying, I admire them for trying new things, but not when you can't see the apron so you know where to press A to grab a weapon, and to just end up getting in and out of the ring. Also, people complained in SVR08 about a lack of a story line, and they listened to our feedback and ignored us, and just gave us 6 dinky story-arcs which can be completed inside of an hour each. They never touched the CAS option, which is good, it's still pretty easy to work, but what's with taking away the CAB option, I liked being able to defend my "Scotty Chan" championships against people; and why only 4 people still, (on the earlier PS2 versions, you could have up to 6 players offline), perhaps Microsoft could release an update to allow more than 4 players, (you could have 4 wireless pads, and 3 wired ones). Finally, Guest Referee and Lumberjack should've been included too, (I know it seems a lot, but they could've made it a 2 disc game, with the 2nd disc containing content that would be installed into your HDD game-save section).
RRXX was never a serious game, (though apparantly a 3rd in the series is being worked on, and this time they'll be getting totally nude, according to some rumours), but SVR is supposed to be more serious, (as serious as fake wrestling can get), and you'd think after 5 years of SVR titles, they'd be improving on them, not making them worse; I put forward many ideas to improve it, such as being able to have a FULL story for CAS's and wrestlers, with the ability for someone on your Friend List to interfere in a match at any time to either help or hinder you, and much more.
It would've been nice if RRXX had a better story mode, more options, more arena's, more characters and more move-sets, but let's be honest with each other here, it's half-naked birds getting down and dirty with each other; no-one's gonna' care or complain either way.
I will say this though; that the CAF mode, whilst pretty bland and basic, (only front-standing moves), it was a good attempt at expanding the game further, (check out an old PS1 game called Fighter Maker, for where this kind of stuff was made famous).
