If they did a proper 2D side scroller on a Next Gen Console imagin the visuals to be had? Look at how purdy The "new" Super Mario Bros. was, and that was on a hand-held. We need more of these games. We were raised on side scrollers. Bring em back. =)

right? this is a long forgotten genre. The 2D side scrolling action/adventure and/or brawler. So any have any clue when were gonna see Double Dragon? As I said before, I was expecting March. I wonder if and what we'll get this week? Can Microsoft keep the streak up?

But yes, Shinobi and Strider would be awesome on XBLA. Ya think we would've gotten the ole Ninja Gaiden, considering Itagaki like workin on the 360. He's exclusively confined to the Xbox, but it would be nice to see at least the first Ninja Gaiden on XBLA.

Any castlevainia game would be great! But if they put on CastleVania 2 Simons Quest I would make sure no one buys it. It's not even a castlevania game it's that bad.

Well you contradicted yourself a little there but that's ok. I never said it was a great game, but I liked it. It all goes back to playing it when I was younger... Parts of it are hard, but thats the fun of it...

i can agree, in hindsight, the game wasn't exactly . . . perfect. but it was a great game for its time. That's because for me and many others it was a game we played when we were kinda young and didnt know what a good game was. We can make that judgement now in this day of high priced fancy multitasking gaming machines, but back then the NES was all there was and good game or bad. Yea, Castlevania II had its fair share of flaws. . .ok, more than its fair share, but it was still one I look back on fondly. That's what most of the games on XBLA offer thus far (not all, but most), a simple nostalgia.

Yeah, sorry about that. But if you really played every castlevania game on the NES. You'll find this one as having the most hardest parts.I just felt as if it didn't deserve it's place for the castlevania games.

Aria of Sorrow isn't too long but it allows for a lot of fun I like the story in that one too. A nice updated version on XBLA would be nice.
