Wow, kind of sad I haven't seen a mention for Dr. Who as of yet.

That machine was ownage....

However, wasn't surprised to see Addams Family in practically every list, lol. That's clearly the best machine of all time.

Imagine how much bank they'd make if they made Addams Family downloadable on here? I wouldn't need the other six tables, that's for sure.

You're not the only one!  Pinball Fantasies was brilliant!  Played it on an Atari jaguar a while back and it's still fun to play.  The tables are a lot simpler then I remember them but still great fun :-)

I still have Pinball Fantasies on Atari Jaguar! I always wanted Pinball Dreams on my Atari ST, but couldn't afford it at the time.

Those games were stunning back then, but I think if you played them now you played them again now, I think you might be disappointed, rose-tinted spectacles or not!

Re: Betreff: Re: Favourite pinball machines from yesteryear
I played all three recently (Including Pinball Illusions Amiga 1200)

Pinball Dreams - Dated very badly, small tables and not much to do
Pinball Fantasies - Still great to play if a little simple  My old Amiga 500 version now looks SHOCKING but the enhanced 256 colour versions look good
Pinball Illusions - For some reason seems soulless.  No fun at all :-(

Also, when I say Pinball Fantasies still stands up I mean the "Party Land"  table and the spookey house themed one.  The other two are a bit "meh"

I loved playing the KISS pinball game when I was a kid.  Especially tilting the table to try and get all the KISS letters at the top of the table where the ball first passes.  I'd pay for a downloadable copy of that table.

I use to go to the local arcade and play a really cool Terminator machine. To bad arcades are a thing of the past.

I emailed ZEN about the adams family and star trek tng tables, they said they had approached their respective owner and that they wanted an extortionate amount of money for the rights to theses tables, he said think of a massive amount of money times it by a thousand and you still wouldnt be close to what they wanted.
This seems rather daft to me since so many people want to play these tables and they are very rare now also the tng table was notoriously faulty, and is super rare to find a completely working one. At least the company would make some new revenue from having these tables brough back to life.

Has anyone played the Family Guy machine by STERN? Only came out last year, and there's one in the student center at DePaul University, where I go, and my god it's one of the best tables I've played in a LONG time.

No surprise then, that it's a Pat Lawlor table, really great, I think I've dumped about $30 into it in three months :)

I also am biased towards the two I own, Rocky and Bullwinkle by Data East (I was thoroughly disappointed that the PinFX table looks nothing like it, nor does it have any of its charm), and Red and Ted's RoadShow by Williams (another Pat Lawlor, and one of Williams' wide-body designs)

I have Family Guy in my basement that I bought early last year and I also play with the Shrek roms. If I had more room, I'd get the new CSI table. I would consider getting an Ultrapin table but the price is still too high.

#1.  F-14 Tomcat Pinball by Willams (1987)
#2.  The Adams Family by Bally (1992)
#3.  Indiana Jones: The Pinball Adventure by Williams (1993)
#4.  Mars Attacks Pinball by Bally (1995)

I loved them all..., and would love Zen Studios to re-create any and all of those here on xbox live.

as a random heads up I just found out that both these games  have been ported to the iphone!  THey play just as well as you remember them and seem to be based off the AGA versions (i.e. more colours).

I am now very happy....

Re: Favourite pinball machines from yesteryear
Does anybody remember a pinball machine that came out in the late 70's or early 80's named "HERCULES"? It was as big as a king-sized bed matress and used a pool cue-ball for the pinball. The flippers were the size of a large pair of shoes, and the bumpers looked to be as big as hubcaps!

So now that I have dated myself, I'm going back to my porch, and yell at those young "Whipper-Snappers" to get off my lawn!

Indiana Jones: The Pinball Adventure by Williams (1993), Attack From Mars. And I can't remember the name of it, but I got the number#1 score on this table and I was really proud, took like 50 minutes I think. I wish I could find that table and see if I still had the hi-score!!
