I finally got the Perfection Achievement. I kept *** up on the High Jump or Hammer Throw. I am pretty proud of myself since I did it all legit with the original controller.

Hammer throw was the most complicated for me too. It's hard to get the timing right when over 1400m/s.
This game is really fun as a party game.

btw, isn't Hyper Olympics the same game as T&F? I think it was the name of the arcade out of the U.S.
unless you are talking about a different game.

EDIT: I think you meant Hyper Sports :D

Hyper Olympics (Europe) is the same as Track And Field (US).Hyper Sports is the sequel to them.

Finally. The perfection achievement was killing me with having to have 3 good Hammer Throws but finally nailed it :D

Just got it tonight woot. Love this game, always have. Anyone else prefer the NES version though?

This is a very rewarding 200/200. With the lack of a turbo controller...these actually feel like achievements. Especially the Hammer Throw. Great game. Now waiting on T&F 2.

I got it a little over an hour ago. No turbo, just the wireless controller that came with my system. Even got a battle scar on my finger cause of all that analog stick action

I´m in.

Takes me 1 hour (on 2 days) for all achievements (with a normal wireless pad)

finally got the hammer achievement the other day.  i am in.  high score is 262,000 pts.  round 3 or 4 i think.  just took me a while to get the hammer down.  its so tight on the timing.

edit: also, why is everyone so worried about turbo pads?  you know if you have actually worked on this game or not.  who cares?  its just like the turbo pads on nes, nothing has changed.  just live with it and know that people that got 99 on the hammer throw have probably used turbo pads.  no biggie, leaderboards always end up being meaningless.
