I can't promise I'll be on Sat. night but I am interested. I need my insane so if you want I'll help you, you help me...... Let me know. Send me a FR.

FR sent.  I am certainly up for it (since obviously I need Insane as well :) ), we'll just break it down over a few sessions and do a couple of acts a session or something like that.  I'll keep any eye out, we can set up a time to do it, too.

Here's another offer:

I need the Dom cheevoes as well.  If you start on Insane, you can unlock both Insane and Hardcore at the same time.  I'll help where and when I can.  Still looking for 6 COG tags as well.

So work with you to get the Insane stuff (so you can get the Dom stuff) and I'll work with Lucky on my Dom cheevoes?  If that's what you mean, I can do that :)  We could even do it on Hardcore to make it a little easier since I'll be doing Insane with Lucky anyway.

I am thinking this will be my last post... I am tired of the battle to be reconized in this thread.. I have been in this thread a long time and if we cant at least recognize that there are females in here by having the title of gaming parents then fine have your title of Gamerdads.  I will inform Madame Dork, Ambrolia, and Enfarine that we are no longer welcome and not even concidered members by the group... We will start out own thread. Good-Bye.

Blu, I think you're making a few assumptions here.  As far as I read, only one regular poster voiced a strong opinion on the name of the thread.  When this came up before, I recall many of us including myself, defended the women and their inclusion and right to be here.

I want to see you and other gaming moms to post here.  I respect the opinion about keeping the gamerdad name stay the same as it was in the very beginning.  I don't see how that means all the men here consider you and the others "no longer welcome".  I've been friends with ambrolia much longer than anyone else I met on this thread.  She knows me well enough to know that I don't feel the way.  It's her decision to feel if she's welcome here or not and you 'informing her' that she isn't, will not help anyone.

You and Madame will stay on my FL as long as you let me, whether you continue to post here or not.  I know ambrolia isn't going anywhere.  My opinion is you're all welcome with open arms.

I can throw my hat in  the ring for some co-op goodness as well.  Think I still need Insane and maybe one of the Dom Acheivements.  I'm usually on in the evenings after 9-10 Eastern Time.

Gaming and parenting.

No flaming.

No hate.

Just games and parenting.

We game together as much as possible, and also discuss games, tips, etc.  We've also discussed everything from how to handle a rebelious teen, to what boundaries should be set for kids and games, to "I can't play game x anymore, because my kids are killing me at it!"

Oh yea MO don't forget to sign up for the Halo 3 game night on Friday. As stated earlier I should be the first one of us to beat that campaign. As myself and 3 of my friends are going to pull an all nighter monday night when it is released. I'll give a review of the game without spoilers of course to let everyone know if if truly lives up to all the hype. I do that with just about every new game that comes out letting my friends know what to buy (thank god for gamefly and the military)

A thought for you all.  Once we settle on a title (ex. gamerdads, gamerdads 2.0, GamerDads, etc)for this thread, I will ask to have it changed, and then those who are willing can put that title in our thread.  Same spelling and grammar so hopefully it will maximize the number of times people see it and it will raise more awareness.  Is that cool with everyone?

My vote is:

GamerDads, aka GamerParents

My reason is when Mo started the whole thing that's what he titled it and the majority who post happen to be dads.  However, all gaming parents are welcome.  Aka simply means 'also known as...'  It doesn't mean one is less or more than the other.

Under 'my forums' that is what it says now, pretty much.

AZ is in MST (Mountain Standard Time) always... meaning we hang out with the west coasters during the summer time when the Mountain Timers go to daylight savings and move over to the mountain time when they come back to their senses and become standard time during the winter. :)  We don't bother with that silly daylight savings time thing!

Oh and it's later.. we are 3 hours and then 2 hours later.  Which means while everyone on the east side is working we are still snug in bed :)

I only took my like forever to get that down so I didn't have to look it up.

I don't think I said it right.  What I meant was the title to use for the link in our sigs (for those who want to use them).  Since we only get 125 characters, it's hard to use that title and anything else.  I changed it to what's below.

As for the title. I'm sure everyone already knows my opinion, but I'll say it again. I think it should have MO MOSS's original title (gamerdads) in it, and I welcome Mothers that game thus the addition of GamerParents to the title.

Also wanted to reintroduce myself, and what better way then to update my original post from the old thread.

Original post Page 1 of GamerDads Nov. 1st. 2006 1:46pm. Thread was only 9 minutes old.

Yeah, I knew the details pretty much :)  Say it however, I always remember our time is 3 hours (or 2 hours during winter) earlier than the Eastern time zone.  I can just never remember if summer is DST or if it is winter, but now I know :)

Thanks, Flint.  I think every gamer on this thread would agree that the 360 was worth the purchase.  From graphics, to achievements, to the online community, it's the best system for my dollar.  I actually got Live to get the DLC and had no plans to play online, but where else are you going to get to go head to head, or play with people from around the world?
