Re: RE: Re: Time To Work On A Gap List
Here's an update: I have Downtown Baltimore and Inner Harbor 99% done, I just missed a gap on both of them so I need to cap that. And the BAD news: my THPG disc had a disc unreadable last time I played. Hopefully, it was just a one time thing though.

Re: RE: Re: Time To Work On A Gap List
Okay, I flipped through the guide for this game while picking up a couple of games at GameStop this afternoon, so I got some of the ones I needed, but the last two, Neutron Bomb in FDR, and Stay on Target! in the museum are tough (I'm assuming I remember correctly from the guide)!

In FDR, you're supposed to go from the "back rafter" and acid drop in to the halfpipe under comstruction. How do  you get on the rafters in that back area? I've tried setting up QP's underneath, and even put a kicker on the rafter in the main area, but I can't jump over the fence.

In the museum, you're supposed to go from a grind on the white rail above the aircraft carrier area, jump/grind to the nearest jet, the jump/grind to the other jet. There is just the smallest area on that white rail you can be on and still jump to the first jet.

I know I'm probably missing some simple, yet essential thing to pull these two off. Any suggestions?

I think if you progress through the Air and Space Hawkman, you should get Stay on Target!, but I may be mixed up. In FDR, Neutron Bomb isn't on the other side of the fence.

Neutron Bomb is simple. Initiate Nosebleed Stall in case you *** up somewhere. From the starting point of that goal, grind (well, you can get off your board and run if you want) the rafter straight for a bit, it then turns right, keep grinding, but jump and grind before it turns right again. You want the second right. Keep grinding that rafter 'til you see the concrete wall underneath. After you pass the concrete wall, jump off to the left a little bit and acid drop to the halfpipe below.

Yeah, I got it now. I was in the wrong spot to begin with (thinking the rear of the park was near all the construction stuff). Now all I need is Stay on Target! in the museum. Thanks!

Edit:

Just got Stay on Target! Duh!

Looking for both the Manual and Grind Less Traveled in FDR. Please tell me that these aren't the skill challenges.

I haven't found the manual yet, but the grind is the long concrete ledge in the back of FDR. The back of FDR being the side furthest from Downtown Philly. I hope this makes sense.

Path Less Manualed is (manualing, obviously) the entire dirt path behind the tall concrete wall in the rear corner of FDR, around towards the construction area. Grind Less Traveled is the concrete ledge from behind that same wall, all the way to just under where the cash spot is.

Get it in there: You need to go to where the only actual building in FDR is. ( The one you can walk in.) Go the the side closest to the skate lounge. You should see a little kicker aiming towards the building. Air off the kicker onto a grind on the silver rail thats connected to the building. You should land in the building.

....Double Post....

Downtown Baltimore, Inner Harbor Baltimore, Freedom Plaza, would be up right now, but I have to use my brother's tv to get the gaps I missed since his has video out. And he's being an idiot so ..maybe.. he'll let me use it tomorrow. Love Park and Bay Bridge will be up tonight if I didn't miss any.

There's no way to check how much you have, though as soon as you start doubting you'll get it, you will.

Update: 4 News ones up ( well in about 5 minutes ), and they I got to edit the rest...I think I only have Inner City, FDR, Downtown Philly, Air and Space left.

Bummer for me, but cool for everyone else. Save Downtown Baltimore, the gaps I need are all in levels not uploaded. Still, patience is a virtue, and it's not like this will be a Saints Row Kingpin situation (Don't ask).

Re: RE: Re: Time To Work On A Gap List
I have all the gaps aside from the stupid long light grind, so which ones are you missing?

I don't exactly remember "high risk maneuver". I'm thinking it has something to do with one of the fighter planes, but I could be wrong. As for "highway to the danger zone", go into the room under the aircraft carrier/flight deck and then wallride the 3 lights in that room. Next, go up onto the aircraft carrier and then grind the red flashing thing that gives you a big speed boost near the window.

I should have realized that there's an even easier way to get neutron bomb. All you have to do is go the concrete barrier/wall, climb the pole up and then acid drop onto the other side. Well, there's 2 poles you can climb, 1 is for neutron bomb and the other is for chemical bomb.

long light grind is actually pretty simple. just grind the entire wire without jumping. use a boost kicker to get speed.

Can someone help me with the last 2 gaps I need in the Air and Space Museum? I need:

Shepard

Stay On Target.

Re: RE: Re: Time To Work On A Gap List
I got long light grind right after I posted that, but without a boost kicker (yeah, that would have been much easier).

Stay On Target - Go up onto the aircraft carrier, go off the qp and grind to the left. At the end of that rail is a kink that angles you towards a fighter plane. Jump at the kink to make it to that plane, grind it, then jump and grind the next plane, also.

Shepard - I don't know specifically, so just keep doing bowl transfers in the craters and you should get it fairly quickly.

Re: RE: Re: Time To Work On A Gap List

I need help, I am stuck at 94%, these are the ones I need.

FDR:

trance transfer, atom bomb, chemical bomb, hydrogen bomb, blue collar spine, big bench gap, minefield crossing, backyard banking

Air and Space:

eagles flight, divebombing, highway to the danger zone, moongazing, satellite orbit, stay on target, sudden decent, turbine and ozone, high risk manuever, round the bend, wings of an eagle

I know there are a lot but if you know any please fill in. Message me on Xbox Live or Post here, whichever you prefer. Thx.

Air and Space will be the next one up, since many people have trouble with that one. It's about halfway done, I had 40 minutes of footage to edit through compared to the normal 10. That sucked.

Re: RE: Re: Time To Work On A Gap List

trance transfer - I don't know how well I can explain it. Go to where the "Cam Battle" is, then head towards the road (where the entrance/exit of the skatepark is). There's a gap between the blue and yellow graffitied wall. Spine transfer over that gap.
atom bomb/hydrogen bomb - Both are over in the area where you get "cluster bomb". Acid drop into a different part in that area.
chemical bomb - Already explained in this thread.
big bench gap - Grind one bench, jump and then grind the other bench. They're in the back area near where you get "cluster bomb", "atom bomb" and "hydrogen bomb". You can see the "Teddy B's Bail Bonds" sign clearly.
minefield crossing - Manual over the mounds by where the "Cam Battle" goal is. Longways for long and shortways for short.
backyard banking - Go to the backyard area where the "sonic" and "boom" gaps are. There's a shed that has 2 ramps on both sides. Use the ramps on the other side of the fence to launch over the roof and bank onto the ramp  on one side of the shed.
blue collar spine - Climb up ontop of the building. Use the qp on the the road side to transfer down to the qp of the roof you have to clear for "backyard banking" (well, you can transfer down to either roof to get the gap).

eagles flight - Jump over the eagle statue longways.
divebombing - Just acid drop from the ramp on the flightdeck to the qp below where you get the "return to the flightdeck!" gap.
sudden decent - Just like divebombing, but instead acid drop from the ramp where you get "the next level" gap.
satellite orbit - Go onto the flightdeck/aircraft carrier and grind the rail/ramp(where you can acid drop to get divebombing) up around to the plane that'll give you the "forced recon" gap, keep grinding and jump from the plane to the satellite and grind it.
highway to the danger zone - Already explained in this thread.
moongazing - Already explained in this thread.
stay on target - Already explained in this thread.
turbine and ozone - There's multiple ways of getting this one. One way is to continue from the "forced recon" and "satellite orbit" line and then jump from the satellite all the way and grind the rudder of the turbine. The other way is to go up to the area via the "flip the bird" gap. Jump and grind the rudder of the turbine (I think you have to grind the right one for it to register). The best way is to grind and jump from the ledge by the window that curves around and angles towards the rudder.
high risk manuever - OK, I got it again. Continue from the latter part of the "turbine and ozone" gap, jump and grind the helicopter, then jump from that and grind the rafters up above. There's probably an easier way to get this one, but I don't remember what it is.
round the bend - It's like the "take the east stairs" gap, but you grind the ledge that goes around a bend and not the rail that spirals upstairs.
wings of an eagle - Either grind or lip the wings of the eagle statue.

If you need a better explanation for any, then let me know or you could wait for him to post the video.
