Creating simulators takes time my friend. It's starting to get to the point to wonder if it will even be out in 2009 because all we've seen are target renders of the game which arent screenshots directly from the game but graphical goals of which calibur Codemasters hopes to achieve. Although, I did like the teaser.Not sure if it was real gameplay (doubt it). Well, E3 is next month so that would be a great time to show off OFP2.

I will agree with you on that. Some guy on the gamespot forums posted on june 10th 2008 said this game is now backwards compatible im not sure if it is true or not. but can anyone confirm or deny this? I really hope that it is becuase to be truthfull im sick of all the fps games on the 360 they are all boring to me. I'm dying for a tactical shooter to play and in operation flashpoint you really cant run and gun. I do have america's army rise of a soldier which is A LOT better then true soldiers in my opinion. Just true soldiers feel a bit wierd how the character moves and all.

If Microsoft does put Operation Flashpoint onto Marketplace, I'd gladly part with some points to purchase it.  Doubt it'll happen but I don't know if there is a request channel for Xbox original games...maybe that's something we can try.

On a side note, I just discovered the Arma2 information because of this post and I'm looking forward to that, if it see's the light of day.  Been under my RADAR all this time so who knows?

For those wondering, the August issue of PC Gamer was released yesterday.Although it's not expected to be released here in the U.S. until the 22nd, a buddy of mine bought the magazine which was said to have the release date and he said their goal was Spring. Probably around Mar/April.Codemasters is usually on time w/ their release dates so around Spring look for OFP2.

I do think those screens are for the PC version. I just have a hard time convincing myself  OFP2 will look great on the xbox 360 and fear they will just throw a port out for us.

lol thanks. That is a cgi rendering but those are the actual character models apparently. They look amazing. Dont forget to check out there website http://www.codemasters.com/flashpoint2/ they updated it looks amazing Says there will be a video on there website tomorrow. Hopefully it isnt this one but we will have to wait and find out I guess.
