I'm really impressed with the amount of content you've added. Looks like you've been adding it since the first of October. Wow. Anybody going to the site for the first time(and never seen the old one), they'll think you've been online for years. LOL ;)

Sorry to bring this up on such a happy day, but it looks I found one major snafu on the new site. There's no links to the forums. Yes, I see the "From The Forums" banner, but it only gives a link to that one post being mentioned and not the main page here...

I thought it might be under "Interact", but didn't see it there. BTW, may I suggest some secondary menus that drop down when you mouseover the main menu categories? Also, I assume you'll be putting up the rest of the ThinPak sleeves?

 

Other than those issues, great job on the site! I'm liking what I see. Keep up the great work.

Thinpak sleeves are coming. We did the most recent and will fill in the legacy content later.

Anyone else who is having registration issues...send me a PM with the email address you're using to register and I will pass it on to the team. This bug ain't squashed but some specific emails will help them track it down.

Meanwhile, you should be able to register without email verification. But having your data would still help.

Aye aye Captain. I also saw that all the old pages(and I mean the REALLY old pages) were still available earlier today, but once the new site went up there's no trace whatsoever of them. Revisionist! :)

I keep finding myself being impressed by the website!  EXCELLENT job!  I love how you can comment on reviews and previews.

Will you add those little sarcastic blurbs next to the pictures that appear in the magazine?  And how about those bottom fillers as well?  Is it possible to edit your comments?  I think that there should be a contest for designing an OXM wallpaper that can be downloaded on the website.

As for a minor bug, when you put something as your signature, it just adds the signature to the beginning of your posts, and not the end.

While I understand the reasoning, I'm saddened to see that you've only posted your top reviews to the site so far (Prey is a 9? Really?). Some of the most popular reviews from your sister pub, PC Gamer, have been the hilariously bad ones, like Extreme Paintbrawl. I'd love to read what the editors had to say about Brute Force at the time.

Oh, and as a guitar enthusiast and Guitar Hero enthusiast (expert all the way!), I wholeheartedly agree with your criticisms of GH III. Jane Pinckard commented on the last 1UP Yours podcast that she didn't realize you needed *** physics for a rhythm game. I suppose it could be employed, but that would be an entirely different game for an entirely different audience (The Man Show: The Game, anyone?).

The reviews will be posted when the games hit retail -- that makes the most sense and it's when most gamers turn to the web for purchasing advice. Columns, previews, and features will be on a different schedule; some of that content will be posted when the mag is still on sale, some will be posted after it goes off sale, and some will simply never be posted. Depends very much on the content.

Eventually all the reviews will be up. Paul made a call to put the cream of the crop up for scores, so we could start with a base that emphasizes what's good about Xbox 360 gaming -- something, I have to note, is not something you seem to find everywhere on the Internet. The rest will be filled in over time, including all the entertaining stinkers.

We will also have a special archive of all the original Xbox titles, too.

In the works. We've wanted to do it forever, and the show has been "suggested" (per the Zune process) but if other people can "suggest" it as well, then please do. We will post manual instructions in the meantime.

When you log into OXMonline.com, you should remain logged in. But no, we are keeping our forums here because this is the heart of the Xbox community, and we're just a satellite.
