Try singing an octave lower. Works for all the songs with high pitched singers.

Yup, that's where I'm stuck at too...

 

I did get past this song.  Make sure you get the first two overdrive sections to help you pass the red, quick bass/green.  Also, make sure you hit all the bass/green and then try to worry about the red.  The song is fairly easy after the first sections.

Now, I am stuck on Run to the Hills...which I have given up on.

Same here, I beat every other song on expert but this one. The last solo gets me when it starts alternating YRG then BYR. I still love the song though, it is so much fun to play.

GGaHT took me 3 tries on Expert Guitar.

Somehow i managed to pull off and hammer-on on Rock Band, which is quite difficult.

GGHT is the last song I need to beat on expert guitar.  I can get through to about 80-84%.  The repeating of YRGY kills me, and then also the BYR I can't do it consistently for so long.  I was stuck at the first big solo section and kept practicing until I could do about 70% of the notes at full speed.  That's not great, but with overdrive, it's enough to pass through.  I just need to start practing the second big solo section, when my fingers start to feel better.   I could probably do better if  I took the time to get used to the HO/PO, but it's hard when you're used to the GH style.  Also, I'm using the GH3 Gibson, so I don't have the mini solo buttons.

For expert vocals, I'm stuck on Should I Stay or Should I Go.

MAN, GGaHT is kicking my butt! I love the song but hate it on Exp. Guitar! It is really making me angry!!!

I love this game and thats the last song, I am so addicted to trying to beat it that my fingers are red. I just tried to beat it 8 times this past hour or so! I have practiced and practiced, but I am making progress. I just got to 86% and thats a huge improvement for as long as that song goes on. I was recently stuck at 76%. So maybe in 2 more months I will have it.

My advice is buy the whole album "Room on Fire" by The Strokes. you wont be disappointed and will fall in love with this song at which point singing it will be a breeze and funn

Anyone here find GGHT is harder on Bass then Guitar? I have a harder time playing this song on Bass (on hard) then Guitar on hard. I just bead solo tour on hard. It took me a week to finish Flirtin with Disaster! How much harder is the tour on Expert? I guess I am about to find out.

I'm not stuck on any song on guitar because i beat GGAHT on expert yesterday! yay me!

On drums i'm not stuck yet only because i just beat medium and i'm only through the first couple songs on hard.

As for vocals, I don't sing so haven't  gotten to far in that.

What else? Green Grass and High Tides on Expert Guitar. I can handle most of the song, except for that loooong part in the second solo with those repeating pull-offs that never end. My hand ends up turning into some misshapen claw, and I lose all finger dexterity. I don't ever see myself beating it, personally, because I just don't have the time (or patience) to practice that part for hours on end. What really gets me is how EASY that song is on Hard, and then how much harder it suddenly gets on Expert.

I was stuck here for a long time but what I learned was that the spacing between red and kick/green is even. the note chart shows them as closer together than they should be played. Once I figured that out in practice mode I could FC the entire intro. hope that helps.

im stuck on run to the hills and blackened on any higher than medium. most other songs i drum on expert. just cant get these two. oh and the thrasher pack is hard too
