Have two of them alive and both will use Cry.  This takes a while, but eventually the 'boss' comes out.  Kill it.

The immortal has: 176,000 hp.

Can kill him easily with 3 Combo for Seth and Kaim and doing Double Spell with Ming, did this at lv 70 pretty luckily. I can absorb most things he does. Was tough.

This may have been corrected already, though the Immortal has 175,000 health (not near 2 million), and you are required to kill him in less that 30 turns for the special award. Wink [;)]

Let me just say I thought that the fight with the ring master was insanely hard, but I killed him (killed the dog and then killed the solder)....  Come to find out that I could use more then just Kaim.... :-) If you want a challenge, I suggest you try it with only Kaim; he was level 99 though, so you may need him to be a high lvl. It is very very hard....

Haha, yeah, I almost made the mistake of going in it with just Kaim. Still hard with anyone else as Seth is the only other one in my group who did decent damage. Everyone else I used as meat shields.

Troublesome Sickness: Win without anyone dying

For some reason I simply cannot wrap my brain around how to do this one since you are not able to actually target anyone cause your dizzy and the frogs smash me down to nothing and then the poison finishes me off before I can heal.  I am sure its probably stupidly simple but I am just not getting it > . <.  Any advice?

Re: Complete Backyard Guide
No one has said this yet but an easy way to get 10 successful coin tosses is to use slot hit this will give you an guaranteed successful coin toss from the enemy you hit meaning if you equip both seth and kaim with slot hit you will get 10 successful coin tosses in 5 turns and then you have the other 5 to kill them.

Re: Complete Backyard Guide

I dont think that anybody mentioned this but an easy way to beat fireworks and fireworks forever to get the three stars is just to use ultimate hit, just make sure you kill all of them with the one hit.

ok.. never mind.. just equip them with all the dmg and melee you have.. and take most of them out the first round.. and make sure to equip the skill "persistence".. makes you able to survive the first round >.<

Backyard Guide

The Backyard is located in Gotza; take the elevator in the lower town to get there.

Concept: There are 5 battles for each of the 5 classes. If you lose, you get 1 , if you beat them you get ★★, and if you beat them and pull off a secret condition, you get ★★★. You can then trade in stars for items. Once you get ★★★ on all 5 enemies of a class, you’ll unlock the achievement for that class (worth 10 pts.). You’ll get items for getting or ★★ as well (lots of Skill Nuts to earn!).

*Magic Keys

There are 3 Magic Keys, which will open up the different classes. They are located in Gongora’s Palace’s hidden basement room, Ancient Ruins, and the Sacred Temple (secret one).

*Magazines

There are 5 magazines, which you give to the guy to the left of the cage. He will then tell you the hidden conditions on how to get ★★★ on each battle.

Backyard Intro (light class): Get ★★ on the Kelolon battle.

Weekly Backyard (middle class): Beast the boss in Gongora’s hidden basement.

Backyard Biographies (heave class): Dropped by Money-Money boss

New Backyard (super class): Beat the boss in the Sacred Temple.

Backyard White Paper (immortal class): Get 59

Hidden battle conditions:

LIGHT Class:

l  Kelolon Group: Let them do the combination attack several times

l  Spellcasters: Beat all the enemies yourself

l  Infinite Appetite: Beast the magic worm after it eats some bugs.

l  Two Eyes: Spawn and beat over 4 dogs.

l  Puppet Master: Beast the puppet master first and within a few turns only.

i dont know if anyone else has stated this or not but another good way to survive in the battle with the immortal is to use two skills together and that is auto mp recovery and mp guard...so if your hp drops too low it gives you extra chances to survive the attack...i wouldnt have beat him without it...or at least not in 30 turns or less..

Re: Complete Backyard Guide
So... you're telling me that i can use more than just Kaim in the ring master fight? Even though it says in the description that it's 'Kaim only'? and no matter who i have in my formation, when the battle starts there's only Kaim standing there? What am I doing wrong? Cos i only have to do this one and i can fight this immortal that everyone's talking about... and i'm feeling a quote from '300' coming on...
Why does everyone lapse into insanity when they talk to me?

Re: Complete Backyard Guide

Kaim is the only one in your formation at the beginning. He is fixed into the fight. However, you can add 4 more behind him. It's not just him against those two. I went with Seth, Kaim, Sed, Mack, and Ming. Mack had the level 3 poison ring on, and 1 hit will poison the dog. Once the dog is poisoned, I defended until he was dead. After that, it's an all out battle to kill the other guy. Good luck!
