What is the big deal with having to wait for the code?  Unless of course that is the only game you have.

Try to talk to a guy named Andrew he's helpful! He didn't know at first what to do but he thn taked to someone and told me exactly what tp do! :D (he should get a bonus)! Most of the other people there are kinda thick and unfriendly! Someone what evan said "what is an arcade game!"! (so if you are helped by someone named Christie just hang up!!!) So rock on Andrew! He is my saviour! Give him a bonus! And sack all the other employees! And rock on Andrew!!!

I called 800-4MY-XBOX today.  The guy at first said there was no way to recover it.  Then he said if I reconnected to Live, it would recognize that I "bought" it and could re-download it.

I then explained that Hexic is a free game supplied on the hard drive.  Then I explained to him what I read on this forum about the download code. Then he finally got the picture and I held off and on for about 20 minutes.

He then verified my phone number several times and finally transferred me to a supervisor named Royal.  Royal stated that they would call me back in 48-72 hours with the code.  Plus he gave me a ticket number to reference if I need to call back.

I think that's the superviser I spoke with but told me ill get a call friday

i called on monday jan/30/2006 they said i will get the call thursday afternoon so i can get the code.

cause i dont have highspeed internet i have to go to a friends house to get on live.

i had to reformat cause update on bc games so i lost themes and gamerpics

I called Monday as well.  They didn't give me a time frame but if I don't hear something back by tomorrow, I'll call MS again.  The guy said I should expect to hear back from someone in TX.  So far calling tech support has only seemed to help one person.  This worries me a little.  I thought it was stated that any content that was on the HDD would be on Marketplace just incase you accidentally erased it.  I had to reformat because of the corrupted BC update that went out.  That was not my fault.

I called yesterday 02/01/06 @8:00am, and just got a call this evening with my code for downloading and everything went fine, playing Hexic HD once again !

Thanks, I was really feeling isolated and really do hope the codes start coming out daily to everyone. Even for the guys that were calling me a liar and getting mad because of me not sharing the code. Good luck and Thanks again. I had no reason to lie.

I was a surprised when I got my call, considering it was a day early then what they told me.

very good question.... when i phoned i also made sure they had my email address, oh and its 2 weeks since i phoned on saturday \o/ UK customer support ft... erm... l. :(

I'm with you Cron13, I called in on Jan. 24th, still no word.  Waiting patiently like a good little boy, lol...

Quick tip - if you call about this, select "XBOX Live" as your issue.  Pick any other option and they are still completely clueless.  On my first call tonight (third attempt overall), they swore up and down hat Hexic was available on Live Marketplace and that there is no code.  The Live people seemed to understand immediately what was going on here.

Apparently, (and I am just guessing this from questions I was asked) Hexic actually may be available on Marketplace for points, but it will not show up as available for download if your system thinks that you have it on your hard drive.

Ive been reading the thread now for a long time because ive had the same issue for about 2 months now and it sounds good that I can download it again.

Well I called the Swedish support number and they said they did not know anything about that you can get the game back by writing a 25 words in the redeem prepaid card place. I told them that I deleted the harddrive because I was surprised when I first went around the dashboard and found only that there was 13 gb free of memory, so I formated the Harddrive to get back my 20 gb. But I still hade the same number of space left. This is what happend and I told it to the support and they said they cant do a thing about it. Once you've deleted it its gone forever.
Could someone give me a numbercombination and call the support because obviously the swedish dont want to help me.

It is console specific.
