It's amazing how high and mighty Man Ure fans get when someone dares mention the munich crash, yet thay have no problem singing about Hillsborough, Heysel or Chris Loftus and Kevin Speight. The vast majority of Man Ure fans can't name three people who died on that night, some don't even know what year it happened.

Not just man utd fans, Arsenal , Chelsea and Leeds too. Every club will have some scrum like that you idiot.

The difference is that we expect to get it back if and when we sing about munich but Man Ure fans throw a hissy fit every time a munich song is sung. Despite, as i previously stated, the majority of them not having a clue about the actual incident, unlike the deaths of Chris Loftus and Kevin Speight for Leeds fans. Those two lads were well known by the Leeds supporters and their wife and kids still attend Leeds games, other than Duncan Edwards most Man Ure fans don't even know who died.

If you're going to call someone an idiot at least make sure that your grammar etc and statements are correct or are you still 100% sure you've been relegated twice. Muppet.

For any scummers who might be reading and didn't know it's the 6th February 1958. And should be celebrated every year without fail. Sometimes more than once.

Wow, I don't like Man U either, but statments like that are completely unnecessary and disgusting. To get back on topic I belive that Hull will stay up, Stoke and WBA will both be relegated along with Spurs. I really think that Tottenham has forgot how to win. Losing Keane and Berbatov sure won't help their cause either.

Yeah. The tackle was terrible and out of fustration. Deserves longer than a 3 match ban.

I've just seen the Guthrie tackle, not exactly accidental was it??!! The FA have already released a statement saying they are powerless to extend the ban unless it's an extreme incident!! So breaking someones leg is now considered a perfectly normal part of football, Joey Barton might just win player of the year by those standards!

Well he was walking around after the tackle. I was really surprised when i heard it was broken. He is out for 3 months so he deserved a lot longer than 3 matches.

Re: Hull City.

mmm only just found this thread - missed all the usual banter between the leeds lot and us lot

big city fan here, been a fan since boothferry park days - not a bad start to the season so far IMO - personally i don't really care abouts leeds - I aren't bothered by them to be fair - our biggest rival I'd still say would be scunny, and will always be -  i think leeds they are considered or "rivals" by some people cause when city we in the bottom and leeds were in the champions league there was a LOT and I mean a LOT of leeds fans in the city

wierd that they have all gone now isn't it and lots of city fans have appeared eh Stick out tongue [:P]

I'm pretty confident we shall stay up though, losing fagan is a big blow, I hope hughes or whoever browny puts on the wing can step up

the wigan game was due to the insanely bad championship defence - the fulham, blackburn and newcastle games we looks fairly solid

all the talk after the wigan game of - def going down etc, couldn't understand it

anyways....

up the tigers! lets maul the toffees on sunday!

serious question - why do you think we are going to be relegated? except for the wigan game we haven't done anything to warrant you thinking we are going to be

fulham game- played well
blackburn-played well
wigan-championship defense/players out
newcastle-played well

or just don't you like us cause your a leeds fan?

we need to pick up these points from these sort of games because we aren't going to get owt from man united, chelsea, liverpool etc

hopefully last nights uefa cup game has worn the everton lot out

As the Wigan game proved you just haven't got the squad to cope, a couple injuries/suspensions and you'll find yourself in a real struggle. My opinion isn't based on jealousy, bitterness or hatred, it's based purely on footballing reasons. Your level of performance, at the moment, is way above expectation and i sincerely doubt that level can be maintained throughout the entire season.

It probably won't be maintained all season - I'm pretty sure of that - which is why its important to pick up the points now - not many teams have survived after being promoted - especially via the play-offs as i'm sure you know - we've done very well to get the points we have thus far

like I said - we won't get nothing from the "big" teams so we need the points from the lesser teams - we did well to get a point against everton - but really should of been 3 - but everton showed there experience and class to get back from 2 goals down

I'm pretty confident that we'll stay up - we'll have to make some more signings in january I think - we need a bigger squad as you said - to get us through the season

I agree if Hull keep playing with that kind of enthusiasm and desire they'll stay up. It just depends if they can sustain it for 38 games, without some decent signings in January i doubt it. They may well be saved by the fact that there are worse teams in the league but i very much doubt Tottenham will go down.

Sounds like a bitter Leeds fan who's team went down the pan 15 years ago. Just because your team has no hope don't wish bad on others.

Hmm 15 years ago eh, the season we were defending champions. Nothing to with being bitter, realism my friend. Without a stupid amount of money invested in new players, Marlon King is not good enough and Dean Windass couldn't cut it ten years ago never mind now, they will desperately struggle to avoid relegation.

You sound like a bitter hull fan who just can't accept that even though Leeds are two divisions below you, we're still a bigger club.

To prove my point:

Hull City vs Fulham - Premier League

Att- 24525 ( New Record for a Hull game at KC Stadium)

Leeds Utd vs Oldham

Att- 24631 - League 1

Considering Hulls ground only holds 25,000, that is a brilliant attendance. Leeds have premier league support but are complete crap when it comes to playing football. Remember this....
