always stay away from him and don't jump!

Best weapon to use is the Lunar.
Back away from him and do 360 circle and Y to charge for UT.
When he does a somersault sword/claws attack, don't dash, jump away! That move cannot be blocked.

Don't back too far, or he'll throw the burning daggers.

If you don't have Lunar at level 2, what you need to do is time his attack. You need to always dash to block his attack, you will know his final attack because he makes the harder loud noise, or his last attack will look slow but does hard damage. If you dashed the combo sequence attack and dashed the last attack, now is the time to attack. Use mainly Y attacks, they deal more damage or X+Y+X..

Like I said before, the only move you can't dodge/block is the somersault sword+claws attack, you have to jump away.

Mate i think you should get out this thread you giving out the wrong info to ppl who are going for a WEAPONLESS run so that does include not using the lunar maybe read the title before posting to see if you have anything to share with them.

Help w/ Genshin on level 2. He blocks all my ninpo and secondary attacks. I saw someone mentioning "IS". Is that a special move or are you referring to the incendiary shurikens? If so, he blocks them. Is there a special timing ot it?

Im not trolling and secondly you didnt quote the guys comment so I was unaware that someone else hijacked the thread and tried to get info on a normal run. I got sicked of getting my *** handed over to me in MN so I decide to give this a go, it wasnt as hard as I tho it would be until I get to Genshin in Chap 2, then, finally get pass him and now I cant, CAN NOT for the like of me, get past Alexial,  or else I just gettin pissed and smash him with anything I can get my hand on, which obviously, defeat the purpose of this....So for those that done it, how did you get pass this a-hole?

Alexia is annoying, especially his grabs:/

Best weapon to use is Kurisa-Gama. Jump+Y+X+Y! does the deal.
Lunar at level 2/3, perform Jump+Y+X+Y or if you have the chance when you dodge one of his long combos and leaves him open, perform →+Y+Y+X+Y+Y (Izuna Drop style)
Claws after dodging and leaving him open perform →+X+X+X+X+Y or X+X+→+X+Y+Y+Y(this move is a MUST, recommended! It zaps nearly all the lifebar!!!)

When ever he is above flying, know that he will charge at you in an instant to grab you. So watch his movement and dash then attack!
When he performs the windmill, this is really hard to dodge! But you have to dodge Left or Right all the time.

Thanks for the input mate but Im doing a weaponless run, Im only playing on acoyte. -_- Im trying to beat him without weapon.

Yeah Alexei is a tough one. Read the thread and you'll see he cost me an arm, a leg, my left testicle and my firstborn daughter!
It's been confirmed that he can be hit with IS (despite what said in the OP) when he's in his spin (you know the one I mean). You gotta be a bit lucky with the ninpo-hits cuz he often does that spin and you'll miss. I mainly used the Void and plenty of them! You're probably gonna need a talisman and all you mushrooms to get enough hits. There is sort of a timing when he starts a spin and right after that you throw your ninpo so that both movements end at the same time. Usually it connects then. Just hang in there and hope for a bit of luck.

Thanks for the advice dude. I'm just about to finish my first run through the game and I was beginning to think about the weapon achievements. I think I'll give this strategy a go and see how it turns out.

Good luck mate alexi is b*tch to get past aswell as the meatsacks part with the spider before the final battle with alexi. Also you know the bridge I think its chapter11 when you can see the spiders running at you? Just run back to the savepoint save and quit then go to main menu. Reload the save and there gone :D:D something i found out by accident

Sweet deal.  I had no idea about this.  Will try when I get there.  Hard to get time to play between school, work, woman, and playing the new call of duty.  I put this game down for almost 6 months and I finally am getting back to it.  I may only play until the 10th or 11th chapter, depending on how frustrated I get with it, and then finish the weapon runs from there.  I just have to remeber to turn off the autosave.

Yeah mate well cod5 is not a good game at all lol this is better im due to get back into my mentor run and im still on the Elizabet fight. Need any info i will try and remember what i did lol but it was a long time ago my posts in the first few pages should answer most of your questions

Just remember; don't fight if you don't have to! You can skip huge parts of the game. Don't stop for boxes, shops or savepoints either. Since you should have everything you need already from your previous run. You can buy everything you missed at a shop.

Question about chapter 7, When you use up all your ninpo and IS on Genshin & the blowup monkeys, what do you do about the Armadillo at the end of the chapter?

One more question, Does anything besides ninpo work in Zedonius?

Use Wind Ninpo for the IS ninjas.  WS UTs are helpful too.  For the 'dillo, use IS and Void Ninpo.  There isn't too much room for error.  When I did it, I was on Acolyte, had 5 Ki slots, and maxed Ninpos.  Also, save your ToR to replenish your Ki meter. 

Make sure to save 1 SoD for Zed, especially Ch 12 (Zed 2).

That's gonna cost you a talisman then, and then just use the Void ninpo. Or redo Genshin and save 1 ninpo and a couple of IS.

No, he's one of the hard bosses you need a little luck with. Make sure you have a talisman and full mushrooms going into that fight.

Thanks, I normally use windblades at certain points when needed when fighting Genshin and timing the IS is tough on him. I've tried it on Acolyte once on a runthrough getting ten ninpos and ran out of IS and he was only down about 60%. Any tips on sure times as to when to through one like a certain attack he uses that is full proof?

I always use IS on the Armadillo. I tried ninpo once and he balled up and rolled when trying that. I did get lucky once with windblades on the Armadillo and it took him down considerablly. I'm going to take your advice and hope the Void does the trick.

Stay close to the wall; I threw the IS during a walljump. When Genshin goes for a long combo do a walljump and throw 2 IS. They only hit when Genshin is in an attack so keep the distance so that you can evade the first attack and do a walljump.

How I beat the Mid-Boss in Chapter 9, I mean the Worm. Cause I have to charge up a level 2 Ultimate attack but it counts as a hit?

For the weaponless run use windblade ninpo and he will get glitched in the tunnel, Use IS to take him on out.
