You cant lightscribe the playstation emblem on the inner ring of the disc. Just like you cant scribe the xbox 360 writing on the inner ring of a 360 disc.

Besides which, Tons of review sites and mags get copies early. Gamespot, oxm, OPM, IGN...these are just the big names, alot of small companies get their hands on copies early.

The game went gold like days after the demo came out. Oxm had a copy days after that.

Why would Lucasarts let them get their hands on their "most anticipated game ever". You really have to ask that?

No this a conspiracy they can do anything and they are everywhere..... lol..

Man people really don't trust anyone that much now a days that even in a simple video game forum everything must be suspect.?..

I think he's played it... the first person clearly didn't read the thread since he was tryin to say lack of TFU game icon was his reason for callin foul. Even though it says PS3 clearly in the title of this very thread.  Now even with a pic he still sayin fake with no real reason.  The OP has given nothin but good info.  Even if some of it has been stated before on other website or by other people... its still accurate and its not like he is making outrageous claims about the game... if you really don't think hes played it good for you.... why keep comin back then and readin his post?? Why not just let the other ask their questions and get what info they can.

Since suddenly this thread has taken a turn for the "He doesn't actually have the game", what would I have to do to prove to you I do have it?(short of recording every cutscene, I don't wanna hook up my gamebridge)

Name something you don't know about the game and want to know.

Nice. Without any spoilers did they give a clear idea when you were making choices that affect the story?

The game is extremely linear, in my play there was one actual choice that could be made near the end of the game.

 Lord Revan Sith wrote:
are you sure only two endings????

No, the amount of unlockable costumes suggest 3-5 endings,(As I unlocked a costume for the ending I got) but that could also be unlocks for beating the game on the harder difficulties.

 DmaGuy wrote:
OMG!!!

Okay

1: How many playable characters are in the game

2: What happends in the 2 endings

3: What kind of Weapon Customizations are there.

You can just PM me so you dont spoil it for anyone. I dont mind!

1. Two from my first playthrough. There are several costumes you can change into however, and the last few are still locked. Several of their outlines do not look like Starkiller.

2. I'm not going to answer this on the forums.

3. Weapon customization happens from gathering "Jedi Holocrons" scattered about the levels. Each mission has 10-15 of these guys. Some of them give you experience points toward leveling up, some give you orbs used to upgrade your skills, some of them give you lightsaber parts. For the lightsaber there are two parts to customize. The power crystal, which affects damage dealt by the lightsaber and the color crystal, which is pretty self explanatory.

 ravinscotty wrote:

Not sure if you will be able to answer this one, but as there are a few different, difficulties, if I complete it on the hardest verison will I get a credited with achievements for the easier versions?? Plus is it good.

The game is a big fan of throwing somewhat cheap things at you, starting a new game on the hard difficulty (you don't have access to the hardest till you beat the game) is suicide. Starkiller is very weak at the beginning(The tie fighter mission is the first you play as him, and he's significantly weaker there than in the demo), and you CAN change the difficulty as you go, a new game+ so to speak. I tried a new game on the hardest difficulty and could not get past the hanger, Starkiller went down in something like five shots.

I enjoyed the game, but there are a number of technical issues, things like infinite enemy spawns(This gets really annoying when the game pushes you several feet to the side to let an enemy spawn), pop in, random pausing and a general lack of polish.

Took me seven hours to beat.

Any questions?
only 7 hours? how many levels are there?

There are nine levels in the game, although one of them you can't go back and play again without starting a genuine new game.  There is some replay value with the New Game+ and harder difficulties, as well as the "Training modules" which is a small room on a ship where you can take a number of combat challenges.  Things like killing 10 Felucians and a Rancor in this small room.

One question, Does the Jump height improve as the game progresses? Meaning, does your leap get any higher than it was in the demo?

No, you're stuck with the leap that you have, jump, double jump, force dash. The game does have several platforming sections in it, but none of them are very difficult.

Thanks for the answer mate much obliged. So can't wait for this game.

How does the black lightsaber blade look? Does it look cool or cheesy and how did you obtain the crystal for it?

SPOILER BELOW SORTA

Hey Npeaen just wanted to say thanks for coming in the forums and being so great about your info...just wanted to ask there is a certain event...an unveiling if you will at the end involving Leia and Bail Organa...pretty sure its the end of  the set "Story" mode...do they actually show this or is it only in the Graphic Novel/Novel that I read? Also what are some of the Jedi/Sith that PROXY uses to help Starkiller train besides Darth Maul? Thanks :)

Here is a simple one:  Is the game worth 60 bucks? or should is it more of a rent due to its short game play?

The unveiling would be the symbol yes?  That's in the game.

Proxy usually isn't trying to kill you, but when you do have to fight him it's kinda like a boss rush, he takes the form of several of the Jedi you've already fought, imperial guards, and finally Darth Maul.  In two cutscenes he takes the form of Obi Wan Kenobi.

I'm also curious if you can start the first level with all the powers, costumes and saber equipment you beat the game with.  If so thats a fantastic way to keep me playing.

I think of the game as a good rental, solid 7 range.

And yes, when you beat the game you can go back to any level with everything you've unlocked so far.

If I could ask another question

Without spoiling any plot points, what was your favorite moment in the game? be it watching something happen, doing something specific whatever. At what point did you find your self having the most fun or entertainment?

the most fun for me was either the Cloud City level or the boss fight against the Star Destroyer once I had it figured out and got past the moronic autotarget system.
