The sorriest boss I ever faced has to be the last guy from Mass Effect if you are equipped with the right items this guy is a pushover.

Quake final end boss.  You just telefrag him, he's impervious to bullets.  Ultimate in Lame.

this one is a no-brainer: Fontaine in BioShock

I just started playing Stranglehold the other night. I'd have to suggest its bosses (at least the first one,) as being one of the lamest boss battles I've ever played. A guy walking around with a rocket launcher while a couple goons come at you at a time is pretty boring/lame/last generation.

the boss was way to easy because you could beat him with a system of pressing the same buttons over and over way to easy and just made the game worse than how already terrible it was

The boses in GOW1 and GOW2 are lame when played on casual.

worst boss battle ever is the guy from Fable 2, he dies in 1 shot, and he doesnt fight back. horrible fight could have beat him with basic weapons and skills.

Fontaine was easy, but I wouldn't call his battle lame. 


Dead Space's boss battle was lame.  It was cool looking and seemed like it would be tough at first, but turned out to be way to easy.  I didn't take any damage playing it on normal.  That's just not right.

The final "boss" in Gradius (NES). It was just a huge brain sitting there and doing... nothing...

my least favorite boss battle was the end boss on RE4 all you have to do is dodge, bazooka, over and over again but the rest of the battles were awesome. I can't wait for RE5!

Acually if you get tierd of his bullshit you can kill him yourself, but it takes only 1 hit.
So I have to agree, the battle againts Lucien was still the lamest... (if you even want to call him a boss).

From recent memory, Gears 2 final "boss", Fable II final "boss"... loved the games though.

     I found the ending of Fallout 3 disappointing.   It's really easy even without Fawkes.  I recently finished Bioshock, Star Wars: TFU and Fable II and I have to say all of them were extreme letdowns.

I was disappointed with all the boss battles on gears 2. Espically the fish one. I mean, even on insane it wasn't hard. You just have to run in it's mouth one extra time and toss a grenade in it's mouth after shooting the tentacles.

But even worse than that would have to be the fable 2 final boss. Just hold A to drain his powers and then shoot him once and he dies.
