Frankly, trash talking on UNO cracks me up and just makes me smile when I beat them :) Personally, I like how at the beginning of a round, it shows who has a mic and who doesn't.  Does it make any sense to ask (repetitively...as in every 5 seconds) "who has a mic? anyone have a mic?" and then start random trash-talking.  Just because we don't have a mic [on] doesn't mean we can't hear you.

Maybe UNO should change its name to "Hardcore UNO?"

oh man i can't stand these people,as soon as you pop in a game these guys start making fun of gamertag's then comes the avatar shots.nothing like getting off work and wanta play a little relaxing game of  uno cause nothing relaxes me more than being bashed before i get card one out.....but ill admit sometimes it is amusing to hear these a-holes
   wat i hate most though is me and my girlfriend live together and both have live accounts so when she gets on half the time all i hear is pick up lines and question's like"hey cutie u single?"even though there three states over.and"want to see my _____?".wtf...but we still like the game and we just look past it and when these problems dont happen its lots of fun

Oh god tell me about it.  My wife has a live account that she hardly goes on (maybe once every 4 months) but whenever we play something together (used to be Halo a fair bit) all the lonely losers would be all like "z0mg whats ur myspace / facebook?" or "do u have a cam / pics / yahoo messenger?" and constantly sending her messages like "hey babe where u been you havent been on xbox in 36 days, 4 hours 15 minutes I miss u heres my cell #" and we are both like "Oh my god what a bunch of stalking creeps.  Weirdos out there I tell you.

You guys must be special (or your female signigicant others are).  I've never gotten a pick-up line, an offer to show me any body parts, etc. when I game.  I do get asked if I want to play another round, when I'll be online next to game, what games I've reviewed lately, and what other games do I currently play :)

Yeah, my gal has her own live account also. She doesn't even use a mic. When we play Halo, the first thing we do is mute everyone. It's kinda sad you have to do that. It really takes alot of the fun out of online games.

It really IS sad how guys can't just let the women be on Xbox Live.  Last time my wife had played Halo 3, maybe like 5 months ago, she had to immediately "appear offline" so as to not be harassed but the message spam & party chat invites were still flowing like crazy.  So she took it a step further and hit the "disable notifications" button so that she wouldn't be distracted with those message / invite pop ups (I do this occasionally too when i'm not in the mood to play multiplayer or respond to messages).  I remember her getting all these messages within a minute saying stuff like:

* Hey baby u wanna go out?
* Hey ur avitarr looks sexxxxxy in dat red dress ;)
* yo u got cam?
* hey whats ur cell # i need to talk to u

It's sad really.  I mean, I have a small number of females on my friends list but I treat them like I would anybody else on my friends list.  I talk to them and play the games like a normal human being, not some horny lunatic looking for love.  Why can't people just be chill you know.

My own sister used to get uber-competitive when we were playing a REAL game of Uno! I'd serve her a draw-two card, and she'd say "Fine, it's on, ***."

It was the same wtih any board game we played.  God, I'm glad I moved out of that house.

Ditto!  I got 'avoided' due to 'trash talk'!  OMG!  I don't swear and barely use the headset.  I only started using the head set when I found out hosts were kicking my out of the games because I didn't have it on.
