haha really? I tried that once but didn't get that so I figured it wouldn't work xD guess I'll try again later. I guess you're right though, I've definitely experienced a number of glitches lol.

Kaboom Desert 11 - NINJA

You only need the springboard here. Put it directly under Eets and whack him two or three times. He should glitch through the wall and into the puzzle piece. Slow motion seems to work best.

Topsy Turvy World 1 - NINJA

As soon as the level starts, use the exploding cart to blast Eets directly to the right. He should smack the wall, drop (just missing the gravity thing), hit the ledge to the left, and land on the left-most bush on the bottom of the floating island. He will walk right through the wall and into the puzzle piece.

S Drive, do you mean beside him on Kaboom 11???

If you place a springer under him here he will only bounce up I dont see how he could run into or through anything???

Kaboom 11 worked for me exactly as described.  The first bounce hit Eets into the ceiling, and he fell back down.  Then the second bounce pushed him far enough into the ceiling that he got the puzzle piece.

Topsy Turvy 1 on the other hand, I've had no luck with.  I've found a few set-ups where Eets gains his footing on the grass/bush under the island for a moment, but he never walks through the wall for me.  Amazing find BTW.

I second that.

2M, damn I am still over 100k away from that.

To me the most insane of any level cookie pulled was Kaboom 17. To do that as a ninja and get 54k is something I honestly dont beleive I can pull.

That is crazy.

My bad, yes I did mean Topsy Turvy 17.

I have pulled that lev as commando but was left with a meager 18k partially due to a crappy time I got.

Highly irritating someone can pull something I cant and an add almost  40k to boot! LOL

 

I will toss out one last prop, (for now anyway)

Ginseng 17 again to Cookie ~ 40k!?!?!?!

I thought I pulled it getting 26 or 28k I dont remember which it was and saw his spreadsheet with disgust might I add.

I just got a nice score. 9457 on Smore Land 18. I used just the two whales. The first was where the explosives are and launched them down onto the tree. The second was placed so that it could shoot the Happy Marshmallow onto the tree (it then rolled down and bounced to Eets), and also placed so it could shoot Eets to the puzzle piece. I can't think of any possible way to use that 2x to an advantage.

I've also just got a commando on Kaboom 13. I placed 1 whale where Eets starts to throw him up to the other whale. I then placed the Pig so that it is just diagonally above the second whale, so that it is low enough to potentially hit the wall just above the puzzle piece. Now the luck is placing the items and being lucky with the timing so that on the second or third time you shoot Eets with the top whale, he bounces off the pig and flys through the gap you just created. I wish I know how to get more than 8000 points though!

I need to double check on this level but I am pretty sure I figured out the 2x and got a decent score with it, around 10-12k "I think".

Thanks guys.  Topsy Turvy 17 is definitely my most "never want to do that again" level.  However, I'm pretty sure there's at least another 3k that can be picked up there - on my high score run, I wasn't ambitious enough to max out the emotion switcher or exploder scores and I was already getting no time bonus.  Makes me kind of wish that they had designed the gameplay so that you can record your button presses, replay them, rewind them, and start re-recording at the point where you did something wrong.
Anyway, my (3rd!) 360 decided it was sick of all the Eets and Samurai Warriors that I've been playing and decided to finally give me the 3 red lights of death Sad [:(]  It should be under warranty, but I'm worried I might go through Eets withdrawal while I'm waiting for it to get fixed.  Time to check out the PC version of Eets I guess.

Hey Cookie, some incentive or pain, depending on how you look at it, for your EETS withdrawal.

I know its not right your machine died but when you get it back you will have to start scoring ASAP.

and hopefully me too xD assuming I don't get caught up in a PC game I just got. Had eets a little over a week and I'm up to 1,945,402 total :) still got a number of levels to go through and perfect too. Good luck with your box, I've had a couple break, it sucks.

I haven't tried going for high score on any of the levels, but I happened to blunder my way into a 15885 on Topsy Turvy 3 when I was trying out this absurd method for getting a Ninja (the score sacrifices time bonuses for shooting about a million choco chips and using no items):

Topsy Turvy 3
Don't use any items. When the game starts, wait for Eets to run into Bob. This will cause the TNT cart to fall down and roll over the Happy Switch. When it does, press Y to clear a path to the switch. Then, press B one ba-jillion times to fill that space with choco chips. Eventually, one will fall down and hit the Happy Switch. When Eets is happy, you can grab him with the whale, then launch him up to the right of the Choco Cloud. Barrage Eets with chips and you might eventually hit him just right so that he flies into the puzzle piece. This takes a million tries, but it's lots of fun—in a sadistic sort of way. (I am so embarassed at how many attempts I made before I got this... especially after seeing MysticWeirdo's astoundingly simple solution.)


I imagine you could make that score higher the longer you draw it out (and the more times you hit Eets with chips). Do you guys find that going for fast times and low item usage gets you consistently higher scores?

I am done! My entire game still shows all my achievments and still holds my score but EVERY level has been wiped from my acct so I have to start over from appetizer 1 VB^EVDX*^%EB#ZDI&^F#UBZ^!!!!!!

Eek, that's the worst! Surprise [:O] Reminds me of the time I lost my Dreamcast VMU... so awful.  You're right though, having a higher score than "Salty" seems to result in terrible Eets misfortune.
There was some other thread about lost progress by JRONI; is it possible that anyone picked "New Game" on your profile, or should we be worried about another game-ruining problem?
BTW, congrats on blasting past 2M

Generally, using the fewest items possible seemed to result in the best scores, although there were some exceptions (Smore Land 4, for example) where it paid to use more items in order to greatly increase the base score.
As far as time bonuses, sometimes my fastest run also resulted in my best score (such as on Smore Mishmash 9), but very often, I found it worthwhile to take a longer path if it allowed me to pick up more gift boxes or activate more point sources (or both, like on Ginseng Hollow 14).
So really, it depends on the level.  Honestly, I tend to just try a bunch of different solutions that seem like they could possibly work, without thinking much about the base score vs. multipliers, and then I focus on minor tweaks to the one that scored highest.  The one thing that was consistent though: I haven't found any levels yet where I’m convinced that the optimal score requires *avoiding* the 2x pickup (if available) – so yeah, I think that primarily focusing on paths that include Eets picking up the 2x icon is probably a good idea.

Oh, and nice work on Topsy Turvy 3 - I look forward to trying your "lots of fun" solution when I have a working 360 again.

Thanks cookie, I appreciate the props on blowing over 2M

I created a new acct named IB SUPERFLY so (just in case) Xbox could restore my data, I could still play and not have all those times and scores get wiped if my superfly777 acct got restored back to its former glory. 

I was hoping that Xbox could restore my data and after spending an hour on the phone with them still have no resolution. I am POSITIVE I did not hit "new game" as this exact thing happened to my son playing Bionicle Heroes about a month ago. He completed 44% of the game went back into it and abracadabra all his data was gone.

 

Nothing is more frustrating than putting a lot of time and effort into something that is gone in the blink of an eye.

btw How stupid is it to even include an option to delete your games data? That was programming genious at its best.

hi everyone...i'm a lil confused i just got the game...this is what i have so far...

Appetizer 3 - Commando
Smore Land 4 - Commando
Smore Land 6 - Ninja
Smore Land 8 - Commando
Smore Land 9 - Ninja
Smore Land 10 - Ninja
Smore Land 11 - Ninja
Smore Land 12 - Ninja
Smore Land 13 - Commando
Smore Land 14 - Ninja

I thought if you get a Ninja, you should definitely be getting a Commando too...isn't this true?? how can i have 3 pieces left, but not at least two...well if you count above, I should have 10 Commandos by now, no?? Because my achievement did not pop up. Or do I have to now do 6 other Commando levels because I have 4?? Any help is appreciated.

You know, I'm not actually sure if they are separate or not.  Anyway, if you play the levels then you will get your commando achievement without much trouble, so I wouldn't worry too much about it.

For some reason they are separate. A trick I used that I didn't see anyone else post about was to do this:

Go through this thread and find any Ninja levels you want to do.
Follow the instructions to get a Ninja, but just throw in another item on the screen somewhere.
Finish the level and get a Commando.
Restart the level and take out the random item.
Finish the level again and now you have your Ninja.

There's really no reason to play any levels just to get a Commando if you do it this way.
