Yeah, of course software can crash a system. Have you never heard of software crashing PC's before? Windows is famous for it. And the part about the console dying is wrong as it happens to me using a Falcon Xbox 360 which has a born on date of January 2008.

My console freezes almost every time I play this, it's making me so mad I feel like I'm going to turn into the Hulk

It does seem less likely that is whats causing it but it does seem more frequently to happen to people that are connected to Live then people not connected. I still have not had it happen once so it's not something that happens all the time for everyone.

The game froze on me once tonight, during a mission. Luckily, I had only been playing for a few minutes, with most of that time spent getting an achievement.

Just bloody froze again! It happened as soon as I finished a mission. This is pathetic.

I have something that may fix this issue. I doubt it but it could work.

Anyway, my Nephew was playing this game for ages without a single crash. The difference being was that he wasn't using the green Hulk, he was using that Hulk with the suit, Joe Fix It or something. Could it be the green model causing this?

Like I said unlikely but my Nephew was playing it fine for ages using a different model.

Well, that's a new theory and may prove to have some truth to it (despite how bizarre it would be if only the default Hulk was screwed up). We'll have to see if others have froze with other models. I have only ever used Red Hulk and have not crashed so that would add a bit more backing to your theory. But the first person that comes in saying they freeze regularly with Red Hulk or Joe Fix It would disprove the theory.

I've had a freeze up using Red Hulk.

man i can't beleive you all are having these problems with ur copy of hulk. y not just trade it in for something else if its messing up like that?

Sorry, but my game constantly freezes with Joe Fixit.

The hulk game freezes when I'm in a circle for a new mission and I Save & quit. It mainly freezes when there is too much going on then you go to a new area too quickly. Also The game becomes less stable when you go into water. So SAVE after doing something big, just to be safe.

Mine has frozen using Joe Fixit, The Maestro,and the normal Hulk. I ended up erasing my game data in case there was a glitch there and it still locks. No certain time frame outside of the fact it hasn't happened in the factory. Once I get into the city, it may take 5 minutes or 45 minutes, but I know it is gonna go *poof* eventually. And yes, I know I can save the game as many times as I wish, but every 5-10 minutes is a bit much.

so i'm just curious, as soon as you first begin playing the game how many minutes does it take before you start experiencing all these glitches and game freezes?

After countless reads I don't understand, I play the game for 6-10 hours at a time and no freezing has occured and I have the crappy arcade Xbox 360 maybe it's me or my console likes me I'm not sure.

 

P.S. This is my second post anywhere.

 

My thought is it has something to do with the either the internet (if you are connected) or maybe it could be the disc...I know it isn't the overheat problem because I have my Xbox in a well ventilated area that is still hot...

Only been playing this game for a short time and it's frozen about four or more times on me

Hope the patch I keep hearing about fixes this problem.

Occasional freezing for me, usually when there is alot of action on the screen i.e. Level 9 Threat with Enclave Assault in same area. 

I'd like to complete 1000/1000 but I've lost alot of interest after finishing the SP.  I like the sandbox and just running around smashing things but it can get old fast without the Ultimate Destruction capabilities.

Same. Whenever a Feat or three and Achievment co-incide with a Mission Complete, prone to lock-up/freeze.
Fortunately, if you could call it that, if I replay the mission - no problem - as the Achievement is already unlocked.

I traded this game like three months ago and I'm still kind of mad about how bad I got ripped off when I bought it. Took them four months to add multiplayer even though it was advertised in the preorder ads.



Crap like this is a black mark on gaming as a whole.

OK is is my story I lose internet last week so i have not been on the net at all with this game since i just borrowed it which I am glad I did cause if i bought it I would be Pi$$ed. this game freezes all the time

I thought I would let everyone know that my Incredible Hulk was freezing also along with other games and it was because my xbox was starting to go out and eventually it did and I sent it in for repairs and got it back and the game does not freeze any more. If it has been freezing it is not the game but due to the xbox getting ready for the red ring of death. So dont give up on the game just be prepared for the eventual red ring of death if it freezes alot. Thank goodness for warranties. 

on my old pro console it froze a few times a day enough to **** me off. My new elite console it will freeze 1 or 2 times a day

idk if this helps anyone but i've experienced no problems with this game after downloading it to my hard drive. no glitches or freezes. i reccomed putting it on the hard drive whenever one wants to play it. i know a patch came out a while back and i've experienced no problems thus far. keep you all posted.

Yep same here but i find for me it only happens when i destroy alot of the city meaning close to half if not over,it been happening to me bout a year n xbox still kicking along fine....for now.

the only way I've worked out to avoid freezes is to clear the 360 hard drive cache and then play the game whilst not connected to Live. I attempted to install to hard drive and it made no difference, in fact I think I got even more freezes that way. By using the method of clearing the cache/disconnecting from Live I've found that the game gets a lot of slowdown but doesn't outright freeze. Hope this helps! It is very frustrating to find comic covers or cannisters and then lose your progress because of this glitchy game!
