I got a lttile lucky because Rose Quartz was dropped after a few battles. However, if you have the Reduce Casting Time 3 skill on all of your characters, your in good shape. It seems that the only advantage the Rose Quartz gave was the ability to use All-Resurrect on the first round. But you really don't need it to beat the final DLC boss.

Thanks! I had 980 points and 190 hours on my first play. I gave up on Treasure Trove for a while because I knew that the only way to get it was to replay the whole game. It took me another 65 hours to get TT on a 2nd play.

Lost Odyssey is a great game. When I restarted the 2nd play-thru, I really only wanted to play the game for fun. But as I played, my completionist bug bit me and I couldn't help but go for TT. I'm sure more people will sign this thread.

Signed!  :)  Took around 171 hours (not counting watching the end *grin*).  Came late to the party as I only got the game in early Feb. '09.  I spent a ton of time levelling up in various places (everyone at 99 except Mack, Jansen and Cooke in the mid-70s), had to look for seven missing items for TT, and learned Zero MP Consumption for Ming.  Also, added about NINE hours killing Supreme Ks and never got Rose Quartz *GRRRRRRR!*...but killed Prof K first try nonetheless.  >:)

What a wonderful game.  Graphics, gameplay, Dreams...phenomenal.  Tons of fun and I'm looking forward to playing it again online.  I know - got this 1100 offline because my gamertags are different.  Long story.  :*(   But I want the points online, so here we go again...
