What i dont like is the people posing as jd. Just the other day someone joined my private game with friends under the jd gamertag


People use the jd thing for an offline profile that they delete it anyways. They cant go online with the jd 2020 thing they made offlinebecause it will say gamertag isn't available.


JD clearly is saying that the people change their gamertag when they get in a match so it appears as JD 2020 connected.

the colored clan tags is a different issue.  the rainbow gamertags the issue

How the clan tag makes the gamertag do that. Is it making you lose the game? No. It has nothing to do with the outcome of the game. Its not a hack. Its a glitch.


A hack is taking something apart and figuring out how to altar the insides to make it do something else.  And nobody is taking apart their stuff or download things to make their gamertag rainbow. Its the clan tag that does it.

I'm interested to hear your answer on this, how does it make you a cheater if you use the rainbow glitch? It has absolutely no affect whatsoever on the game play.

And quite honestly, JD is just telling us there are people out there who are actually impersonating him by using his gamer tag, in which a hack was made to allow it. But since the folks who are doing the rainbow effect are using their own gamer tag for it, it is nothing but a glitch, not a hack.

And if it wasn't intended, why was it leaked? If not by Treyarch, then who? Since no one from MS nor Treyarch has stated either way if it is a hack or glitch, legal or illegal, it will remian speculation until proven otherwise.

I have heard this thing is patched as of yesterday but I saw JD 2020 kill me a lot yesterday. Also saw rainbow gamertags as well.

I will say this again, XBL must go to the one GT account rule all hackers will be banned within a month. I am all for 1 name, 1 account, 1 GT account ... why do you need to hide from others.

What allows these hackers to do these hacking is multiple GT's accounts. Therefore, limit GT to one account at sign up then if they hack MS & XBL will locate them quickly and bang they are gone for good. It is a deterrent !

The second controller glitch has been patched. It no longer works.

And I have not been seeing anyone with the rainbow, cycling, cylon, moving, dots, gamer tag since yesterday.

If you encounter any of these people it is a good chance it is the hackers.

The one's in the wrong were the people who modified their gamertag NAME not style.

I would not know where to start changing my name by hacking , what's the point in paying £200+ for a console if it's going to end up banned .... waste of cash if you ask me.

Anyway the 2nd controller glitch has definately been patched as it does not work any longer , so if you still see the funny colours then i suggest report them for system tampering and also report those impersonating JD 2020

There, unfortunately.. is some truth into that. I've fallen for some stuff in the past, years ago. I'm sure some others have as well. I mean though, this is a bit over the limit though. I'm sure most people don't even know who JD is.
