Re: Briefing Room - Everything You Need To Know
I seriously doubt I will buy DLC for this game...

Hopefully CM throws us a bone and gives us some free DLC for sticking with it.

      EA/DICE did that with BF2:MC.

Oh, I was doing mission one again, and saw this rack or mortar shells (NW side of village by first objective). I shot one of the shells and it did explode. I thought that was kinda cool. I think CM was trying, just that they rushed this game out the door before MW2 hit the shelves.

Here's hoping the patch, supposedly early next month, fixes much.

Re: Briefing Room - Everything You Need To Know
Not sure on the first part of your question. I just rented the game myself....as for helicopters I know there is on at the far North West of the island on the beach. I was able to get in it and we took off. Then unfortunately we were shot down and the team didn't make it.....OOPS!

I think once you're inside a vehicle you can hold LB or LT to select a seat, then you can drive, ride, command etc.... that vehicle. I haven't made it back to the chopper yet, but this "changing seats" works in trucks and jeeps so I would assume it works the same in the chopper.

So far this is a bad quantum singularity game. I rented and played COD 4 & 5. They are cool but like others have said they are more like the Rambo, Hollywood type games. You can enter an area and shoot like a mad man and if you move fast and basically go crazy you can get in and get out and shoot a lot. Nice, but not very realistic.....THIS GAME, this is hard! I'm just playing on normal and I get killed A LOT! It has taken me some time to get used to moving slowly and carefully. I like the hell outta it!

I agree with Born Again5t. Where are the promises in the game, as I cannot find them. I can understand that there are no vehicle missions, as the AI team mates don't know how to operate them. Jump in a LAV and let the AI drive and you know what I mean.

Look at the old flashpoint (cold war crisis). This is what Dragon Rising should be. In cold war crisis you have the:
       - free roam (at least a lot more then dragon rising, but still not a real sandbox)
       - ongoing war feeling
       - vehicle missions
       - interaction (except the damage, which is great in dragon rising)

I feel a bit cheated as this is not Operation Flashpoint, but more a Ghost Recon with slightly better AI. This is not bad, but don't pretend that it is an Operation Flashpoint.
