out of curiousity, has anyone here started a second runthrough?

I'm just curious if you keep your levels, equipment, characters, does the difficulthy go up?, etc.

Not yet, but I read on GameFAQs that you don't keep anything on New Game+, you're just able to recruit Special Character 2.

Ok.  I have all of the above.  So eventually I will get Hiro.  I am doing a mission that I have to kill 3 generals.  But I am doing 0 damages on Gray.  Can't figure out how to kill him.  Every now and then I get a hit in but its still not doing much damage.

I have, the game is much easier on your 2nd playthrough. You don't get to keep your levels or characters. However you do get to keep your equipment and bonus experience points. So if you have a lot of bonus exp that you haven't used towards the end of your first playthrough, you should save it for your second. If you do that, you can level up Begina and Diaz at the start of your second playthrough and really dominate.

You also get to keep your money. The only downside is that even though you have all the nice equipment, you can't wear any of it because your low character levels mean that you have low cp (weight) which means you can't equip armor like the Hellion Cloak and stuff. What I did was spend most of my money upgrading everyone's weapons. If you have enough cash (and the right materials) you can upgrade everybody's weapon to the max level at the start of the game.

Judo also joins your party after Supply Lines. He isn't that great though because he is pretty damn slow. He might get better as his level increases, but I didn't bother continuing to use him, so I dunno know.

You should check his status. He probably has the ability to null all damage for the first 5 or 10 hits in a combo.

Ok, I’ve been playing for a while and I had Sasquatch Rampage & Imprisoned Sorceress missions available but decided to Level up some of my characters first. After a few basic Find Work missions, I only have the option to choose Trouble with Goblins Mission.

 

My question is will Sasquatch Rampage & Imprisoned Sorceress mission reappear after this mission or will I have to go back to an early save? If no one really knows then I’ll try it when I get home tonight.

Does he join during that mission or a mission to get him becomes available after that one? Cause I read that you have to have Little Snow recruited and I don't think you can get her till you're a Galestar. Do you just have to grind your Merc level up at the start of the game, get Snow and then get Judo?

Those missions will become an option again after you complete Trouble with Goblins. Trouble with Goblins is one of the missions that pops up after you've progressed far enough in the story, which the game forces you to play in order to progress further.

No, I'm talking about Judo, not Jadou. Judo is the head of the Norius mercenaries at the start of the game, remember he dies, and then Begina takes over? Well, on your 2nd playthrough he doesn't die during the mission Supply Lines and joins your party for the rest of the game. Supply Lines is the first tough mission in the game where you have to survive for 10 turns in the desert and first encounter Jadou (the leader of the Overlord army with those things coming out of his back).

You can get Jadou later after you defeat the Overlord army and have recruited Little Snow. I haven't recruited Jadou yet, but I'm pretty sure his mission doesn't unlock until you've reach Mercenary King. It might be possible to recruit him as Gale Star or Licensed rank, I'm not sure.

Thanks for the info, I found that out last night but went to sleep instead of posting my results.

The mission for Jadou just popped up after I recruited Little Snow. You don't have to be Mercenary King rank for it to appear, I'm only Gale Star rank at the moment. The mission is called Dark Royalty.

I am having trouble getting Rimm, Kiratt, and Anita. What are the prerequisites to get the missions to recruit these characters? You have to destroy a kingdom?
