Your partially right there Ben.  I think they are fixated with us.  I can't ever imagine wanting to join something so badly in my life that i'd resort to talking smack.  Problem is, none of them ever stands a chance at getting in legitimately (yes I'm acknowledging your pathetic existence under assumed names boys - not that we give a hoot) as they are all just massive tools in the end.

At the end of the day I just think to myself that I have a great career, a great family, and just enjoy life.  These tools have nothing better to do than lurk in websites in which they are clearly not welcome, and then cause problems here.

What is totally sad is kidjosh getting roped into it.  He used to play a few games with my boy on occasion (in addition to many members at xgamersonline.com) and my boy really enjoyed gaming with him.  It's unfortunate what has come of this, because I will not expose my boy to people I have sparred with in this forum; as ridiculous as it is.

I have in fact been reading this forum for many many months now, as I am a golfer in real life and I get a kick out of all things golf.  Unfortunately I am not able to play the game online due to Xbox Live restrictions.  They do not support satellite internet for some reason, and that is the only high speed internet provider in my area.  Very frustrating. 

Anyway, I read your original thread a long time ago proposing your own forum for golfers and thought it was a grand idea.  A place where you can say what you like without censorship, an adult community for gamers to gather.  What's not to like? 

My disappointment is this - for as wonderful an idea as this community is, you seem to have taken the events of this forum so seriously that you are letting it affect how you run your own forum.  While that is none of my business, I did feel it needed saying.  Take it as you will.  I decided to post only after reading one of you making fun of others for something which you yourselves thought was a grand idea! 

I have witnessed the events of the last few months with great amusement.  Grown men acting like children, that in itself is worth the price of admission.

As far as digging up this thread goes, I have a little secret to share.  Gather closely.  There is a button at the top of the threads entitled "Search".  Click it and enter "clan" and see what pops up.  It took me all of five seconds, and I imagine unless you are unlucky, it will work for you too.

satellite internet still will work for a silver account and show games played and achievements the only problem that has been expressed is the amount of lag due to sending a signal to and from a sattalite so i find it hard to believe that you are speaking the truth because you would still have it hooked up to your 360 and have games on your gt so nice try

I'll admit that you had me going yesterday with the new HappyGolfer persona, I truly thought it was one of my friends trying to be witty.  I should have known better, as none of my friends are very witty.  It was a clever ruse, but after my own buddies started asking me about it - and then you guys all piled on insinuating it was me, the ruse became clear and I figured out what was going on.  Clever.  I award you all 50 Caddy points to go along with the fitted Judy Blume caps.  That's a joke fellas.

I would like to take this moment to apologize to each and every one of you on both sides of this, I should never have allowed things to progress to this point.  I have friends who are now upset that they may not be able to play certain other people just because of a perceived association with me.  That's not what online gaming is supposed to be about  - and I am sorry for my role in this entire ordeal.

I would venture to state that the MAJORITY of what has taken place here is very much in jest, as Hogowner has stated above.

This us vs. them thing is entirely ridiculous and should stop.  We are grown men (most of us) and while slamming each other is entertaining, there are times when it has clearly crossed the line.

Caddy - perceived associations with you have nothing at all to do with decisions affecting whom my child games with, if in fact this line was directed at me.  People are always responsible for their own actions/comments etc.

I am impressed! Quite frankly speachless. But this I do know at least we all had a little fun. Sure we were laughing over here and you guys laughed over there, but at least someone knows when to say when. This thread isnt to slam anyone, it is here to show everyone, Look! We had our fun, Lets not take it to far.

If anything both side have just had fun. Leave it at that, dont hate anyone. Thats all were here for. I for one dont hate any of the people on here(except for Caddy) lol. If anything I think we would all have a blast stepping out of our comfort zones and  getting tourneys between both groups. Just food for thought there. Now I know Ive said alot of mean stuff to, And will admit it to all here, but I think dadzcow, and caddy are right, were grown men. How do we expect our kids to play well with others when we can't.

Ok, I deserve that. Im sorry I made you feel that way. I had no clue I had that much control over your feelings. Like I said, I thought we were all having some fun. The way I figured, both sides were laughing. I could be wrong though and If you werent I am truly sorry.

As for the covert operation, I do enjoy a challenge once in a while. Im sorry for that part of my personality, and for the abusive part as well. I am just a little guy after all, empty threats at most. You caught me.

Well if nothing else, at least we've proved this won't be awkward.

I for one would enjoy the opportunity to play a guy like Hogowner, and I still have unfinished business with Gunz.  Hopefully after a bit of time has passed, tempers will have dissipated and this whole episode will be nothing more than something to laugh at.  The more people to play with, the better.  The chaps from England (Siberian and Soggy) have always intrigued me, from what I've read they approach the game with the same mindset I do.  If I'm going to have my a$$ handed to me, I'd prefer it be done by guys who play glitch free and don't resort to waggling or pin banging of any sort.

Of course, if you don't want to play me, I understand.  No big deal.  I won't barge into your games unless invited.  I would like to extend an invitation to anyone who would like to see what I am like for themselves ... if you see my game setup come on in.  You may find yourself laughing instead of being angry. 

Whether you want to play me or not, I just hope we can keep this forum civil and get back to the spirit of the game.
