That's an interesting idea, don't think it would work though, as they'd be "asked" to do the same with all those other original xbox titles everyone is hoping might be back compat one day.

Hmmn, on further thought I don't like that idea at all.

1. I've already paid for the game, I don't want to buy it from Marketplace.

2. I'd rather not clog up my hard drive, especially as I have the game on the original disc.

They come out with new additions every time they update the dashboard.

Their plan was to have playable games for all ages and preferences. So they see that PGR3 is on 360, and that's a racing game, so they think: "We won't need to make one of the racing games from the old Xbox BC now, but just for the sake of it, let's make PGR2 BC, even though the odds are no-one will be playing it because of PGR3."

However, they don't have any "FAMILY" games yet, so they DO make the BARBIE game BC.

The Barbie game was only on the list as a result of another title they made BC. They didn't work on the Barbie title itself, it just happened to use similar game engine / code as one of the other titles.

The thing that's always concerned me about MM3 though, is they might not class it as "top selling" as it was bundled with the Xbox in the UK for a long period of time. So there's a lot of copies out there, but it wouldn't appear in the charts.

Well if the BC updates are every 3 months, next one will be in November. Or maybe the end of this month, but I can't see that happening.

Anyone here played Saints Row?
I reckon (if it didn't lag so badly) they could take out the guns etc and use the driving only engine for a 360 MM3 clone.

I'd love to be playing MM3 on my 360 for the Holidays! My kids LOVED this game. They miss it now that our xBox died and it's unsupported (currently) on the 360....

A year on and the backward compatibility issues are still haunting us.

Yes they are giving us great next gen titles such as COD3 & GOW.

But my poor copy of MM3 is collecting dust, and I would still play that.

Lets get this campaign up and running again.... ;)

Is halo 2 on the VGA? Because im getting that connector too. So if halo 2 was, i would guess mm3 would be. Hmm it's gone back to August today. Yesterday the BC page said 'Last Update December 2006'. Maybe it was a mistake? And there is a new update coming
