52 - same issues. The constant beeping. Muting and audio drops. Teammates are constantly complaining about my microphone/feedback. My ceiling fan makes enough noise to make line chatter. Its just too sensitive.

I have these issues. I like using it but my friends say the feedback is soo bad, they complain till I switch to the normal headset, so now i have a $60 paper weight.
  • Extreme feedback and sensitivity
  • The infamous "humming/buzzing
P.S the humming/buzzing I barely notice so that doesnt bother me.

I received mine today and after 3hrs of gaming, got a complaint from a teammate in CoD3 about feedback. I ended up switching to the wired one :(

63 loses sync every couple of minutes when 5 feet from 360, TERRIBLE RANGE (less than 12 feet), static sounds when talking...random beeping (assumed to be when losing sync)

just thought I'd mention... if you are not "synced" with the console (if your headset is flashing 4 lights), the console wont be able to give it the command to shut off.

it kinda relates to the main problem everyone is having.

Re: Post if your WIRELESS headset is not working

66 Disconnects with beep.  Seemingly short battery life.

My Xbox 360 is on the left side of the center of the room and very low (but not on) the floor underneath my HDTV.  The farthest away from the console I can get is only about 11 feet maybe 10.  I have to wear the headset on my left ear and remember not to get too comfortable on the couch to keep a connection.  This has cut down on the number of disconnects.  However, as the battery discharges over time, the disconnects return: left ear or not.  Furthermore, the wireless headset seems to pick up my surround sound system more that the wired headset and people online I've asked my to turn my "TV" down: which I've done of course (or had to mute the headset).

P.S. Almost forgot: I have a microwave, wireless phones, a wireless router and a wireless access point.  I've turned them all off and unplugged them all and the disconnects still happen confirming the limited range of the headset itself.

Re: Post if your WIRELESS headset is not working

Updated 11/26

Ommited an addition because of an invalid issue.  The headset will go off if left alone for long enough after the 360 is off. (or manually turn it off...i know it's hard)

Next number should be 67.

Re: Post if your WIRELESS headset is not working
Turns out that this buzzing only occurs when I try and test it by recording a voice message and then playing it back.

I used it online in FIFA 07 Pro Evo and Call Of Duty 3 and 2 and noone could hear me buzzing and my speaker icon wasn't showing on COD2 which would have been a give away of buzzing.

69 - Buzzing once, but think this was due to battery low (a quick off/on cycle fixed this). No other problems and I'm very happy with my purchase. Would recommend it to anyone!
