Yeah agreed. I think planet will be just non stop action fun. And Death Proof will have a little deeper story.

Pure speculation. Don't hold me to it! lol

Yeah that is pretty much what i was thinking too. Planet terror looks like action from begining to end while Death proof actually has a few dialogue scenes. All I know is that I will have one of the greatest times ive ever had in a theatre when i go to see these movies lol. Sometimes i just like to let go and watch some heart pounding action. Thats probably why i liked 300 so much.

Death Proof pissed me off. Started off ok but I didn't enjoy what Tarantino did to Stuntman Mike. Make him all awesome and everything then all of a sudden they completely change him into this big wuss. He complained and everything. "Come on guys I was just playing!!" Oh my god that made me upset. I don't mind his dialogue but the girls' conversations weren't as funny as Tarantinos conversations usually are. The version on DVD is going to be longer, hopefully it fixes some of the things that made me upset. Planet Terror was a wild fantastic ride though

Note on the last post. I was still fine with the dialogue. I think since Tarantino only had 80 minutes he decided to build more character which is fine. PLus he still made some interesting conversations lol

Re: Favorite Tarantino movie

I think we grew up watching a lot of the same movies and shows - I can usually pick out the source material of his films.  Any other child of the 70s remember samurai saturdays?  I love 'em all, well except for NBK, - especially Death Proof, but that's in a whole 'nother category.

I'd have to rank Pulp Fiction above all, with Kill Bill vol. 1 a very close second.

mr tarantino is my all time favourite director! but i can confidently say that his first film, reserviour dogs was his best film.

1. reserviour dogs
2. pulp fiction
3. kill bill vol.2
4. kill bill vol.1
5. jackie brown

Damn,I forgot about Four rooms! One of his best!

yeah, he only did one of the rooms.  the last one, it's an homage to an old twilight zone episode.

robert rodriguez, allison anders, alexandre rockwell did the other three rooms.  it is a hilarious flick though!

i finally saw deathproof the other day and thought it was pretty sweet.  i need to watch it again and planet terror.  not enough time...

It boggles my mind that someone could think that the slaughtering of women is "awesome". Red Flags should be going off everywhere on this kid. Someone wanna watch this guy, he may be another school massacre in the making.
