This sucks. I just got my cousin to actually buy the game so we could co-op and it doesn't even work. This is so ***. The main reason I bought the game was for the online co-op and it doesn't even work. MS I want my money back.

I got tired of waiting for the game to work as advertised.  I just got off the phone with Microsoft's Customer Support line.  They refunded my MS points back to my account (after a long conversation with a CS person who wasn't aware of the problem).  If the rest of you are as fed up with waiting for the game to WORK LIKE IT'S SUPPOSED TO, call 1-800-4MY-XBOX and do what I did.

they were not as forgiving to us when we called...seemed like to lofty of a task to get reimbursed.....btw I just tried to get into a game again tonight and no love...Im sick and tired of having this freakin game on my card when I haven't even played a single second of it....

I would try calling XBOX but after my last customer service experience with them, I rather eat the 800 points and think twice about buying any more arcade titles unless I know for sure 100% that they work properly.

Had we bought this game in a store, we could have returned it, like consumers have done for ages with defective products.  As we all bought it online, however, I don't know how to get a refund.

This is the first game that I've tried to play online through Xbox Live, and this is the experience that I'm welcomed with.  I must say, this reflects poorly on Sierra, on Microsoft, and on the Xbox Live service as a whole.  If this is the kind of thing I can expect from my VERY expensive toy, the 360, then I'm quite disappointed to say the least.

What is being done to fix this problem?  I bought this game solely for the Xbox Live multiplayer aspect.  Where does that leave me now?  I have no interest in playing through this game in single-player.

I would like my money back, or I would like this problem fixed.

nothing is being done. I called MS just now and they gave me the runaround about it. first person tried to say it was my ISP, second person told me to re Download it put me on hold and hung up on me, and the 3rd person said re download it tomorrow and call back. so F**K MS and there SH*TTY Customer Service. Oh and poster above me i agree 100% with what your saying. We should be able to get a refund for Arcade games that dont work the way they are supposed to.

So very true.  If you go to the Assault Heroes forum http://forums.vugames.com/forum.jspa?forumID=233&start=0, they say they are working on it (yeah right) but have been real bastards about updating us.  I mean, how hard is this to fix and why so long?  I saw some previous posts about people calling MS customer support and getting their points back but this is retarded on Sierra and Vivendi's part for not fixing this asap and makes them look real bad and should not put another game on XBLA.  Dude, look at Heavy Weapon, that game rocks and the co-op works like a champ.

if you call MS try talking to billing first. seemed to get me a little further than talking with Live support.

Got nowhere today as far as a refund for this game. I did get in contact with someone that said everything would be documented and sent off to the appropriate people. As far as Sierra goes dont bother calling them because they are useless. I would advise anyone that is thinking of purchasing this game, Not to. Im really disappointed at the level of MS customer service. (Way to outsource  @ssholes) I know for most of you its not the ten bucks you spent for the game its just the principal. I advise you all to keep posting. Ive sent this thread off to Xboxic, Kotaku,and Joystiq in the hopes that maybe they would post something about it. i advise you all to do the same. make your voices be heard.

I agree 100% with your comments and like I've said several times in this forum it's not the minor sum we've all paid for the game it's the fact WE'VE paid for something that does not work for the vast majority of us.

Think  I'll drop Major N a line, it'll fall on death ears but all the same it's the PRINCIPLE of paying for something that broken £$1 or £$1,000 no difference.

Just sent an email to Major Nelson to see if that will do anything.  Probably not but what the heck.  What I don't understand is why in the world they are taking so long to fix this issue.  Its not like we are making this up and or only happens to a small percentage.  This makes them look like real jerks and should reconsider themselves as developers and what they send out.

I wanna hear everyone yelling this as loud as they can to anyyone and everyone who will listen.

I just sent an email to the developers of the game (Wanako Games) to make sure they are aware of this.  If nothing comes of this I will file a complaint through the Better Business Bureau and see what they can do.  I can't believe we are wasting this much effort on this game.  It can't be that hard to fix.  Heavy weapon puts this game to shame.

It's really good to see that quite a few of us are all singing off the same song sheet here in terms of it's not the paltry sum of money were talking about it's their business ethics in terms of selling something that's not fit for purpose.

I've never been able to connect to one match yet. And I've tried with over 6 people already (yes, I count). :\

Okay, I pay $535 (CDN) for the console, I pay about $77 (CDN) every year for the Xbox Live service, I payed $15.50 (CDN - for 1000 MS points), and I get this kind of crap? I put up with the 360 always freezing, always having problems connecting to games when I actually wanna play online, and now I get this crap?

:| I reaaaally hate calling Microsoft Reps, most of them are some foreighners that can't even speak English, or just plain a-holes when it comes to getting help. So I can forget about a refund :\
