There are 4 achievments for the T Hunts.  2 single player ones and 2 coop ones.

Single Player - Complete all T Hunt missions on Normal mode

Single Player - Complete all T Hunt missions on Realistic mode

*****************************************************

Coop - Complete ONE map with one or more players

Coop - Complete ALL maps with one or more players

BTW - I need three more maps now - Dam, Research, and Library in REalistic mode for single player.

Does one get experience points for split screen if you play on the same box (i.e. two IDs, one with a memory card)?

you should if you go to xbox live and join a public room (sharpshooter, coop story, ..) with other players or host one yourself

It doesn't make a difference, you can play at low density. Actually i would strongly recommend it to avoid extensive controller-throwing caused by frustration.

Thanks for letting me know about that achievement. its ridiculious why they worded that wrong. im sure there were loads of people (inclding myself) tryin to get that achievement on two player...

But thanks. workin through it now on realistic. done about 6 of them there today. its really annoyin when you get down to 1/4 and then get killed. but sure it has to be done.

good luck to anyone else whose tryin it...

Re: Betreff: Re: RE: Re: Splitscreen Terrorist Achievements:
WOW this achivement was hard to get, i did all the maps on realistic last night and i have a few tips for everyone.

1: normal weapons are obsolete on realistic, because basicly if you get shot once you die.
2: use the riot shield along with the racing bull, you get 1 shot kills and are shielded from fire.
3: be extremely careful when opening doors, enemys have better reaction times than you do!
4: when you encounter someone with a shotgun, be sure to crouch! the blasts from shotguns will hit your feet and kill you about 75% of the time.
5: beware of enemy grenades, sometimes one enemy will through a smoke or flash, and then throw a frag right after, dont be fooled!

happy hunting!

Re: Betreff: Re: RE: Re: Splitscreen Terrorist Achievements:
So I confirmed with my own eyes that there are zero achievements for completing all the Terrorist Hunts in single player mode. That means starting up a splitscreen solo and playing with half a screen, as if it wasn't tricky enough :p

Anyway, my biggest problem is how enemies "pop in" and have this knack for coming up from behind at the worst possible moment. I guess what's realy happening is a cluster of enemies will spawn in and during the initial exchange of fire, 1 or 2 units from the rear, maybe hidden from view, will start circling around your position. By the time you've mopped up the unlucky men up front and think you've "cleared" a room, the stragglers have found position behind you. So begins the rather nail-biting routine was moving foward, clearing in front, turning around, clearing your rear, then move forward again, clear front, clear back.... and so on and so forth.

Fun stuff, but intensely frustrating when you expertly flush out a mob only to have that one guy who walked in from 4 rooms away to take you out with a few pistol shots.

You need to go back,  you have simply missed a map.  There are no splitscreen achievements.  If you still think so then knock yourself out but there aren't.  You have missed a map or you have run into a glitch of some sort but I'll bet you missed one.

Splitscreen Terroist Achievements:

There has been alot of controversy about these 2 achievements so I'm pinning this to alleviate the question being repeated over and over.  There was an error in the achievement name text.  The word Splitscreen should have been omitted.

1.  Veteran Hunter
Complete all maps of splitscreen Terrorist Hunt on Normal difficulty

2.  Elite Hunter
Complete all maps in splitscreen T-Hunt at Realistic difficulty

Most ppl including myself didn't understand the term splitscreen which suggest offline play with a buddy.

*note:  If you beat T-Hunt on Realistic first then you will automatically recieve the achievement for Normal.

Set Up:

From the main Menu Screen select single player,  then Terrorist Hunt,  then select map which Border Town will be the default and it doesn't matter about the order you play them,  then choose your difficulty level and the amount of enemies:  low-med-high.  You have No Respawns.  1 Life only.

I just wanted to let you all know so if anyone is wondering how to get them you can but I assure you it isn't easy.  I have only played the normal Terrorist Hunt. You have very little forewarning of terrorist appearence.  They will miraculously appear out of thin air and they are ruthless when it comes to flanking you. So don't think you can snipe from afar. Most will be shot at point blank range.  The enemies will usually be in the same spots but the amount of enemies will vary. Sometimes one, other times many more. One of the more challenging things is that you do not have your snake cam. You simply open a door and face whos there. Closing doors behind you is also futile.  If you have went thru the door then they can flank from that direction regardless, they will rappel as well.  Some maps you will get thru on the first attempt and others will make you pull your hair out as many times as you have to restart.  I found the Library map to be one of the most difficult.  I can only imagine how much tougher it will be on realistic. The main key is taking your time and always look 360 degrees at all times.  For the RB beginner it is a very good way to learn the maps and practice your quick firing reflex which will help you in online multiplayer play.

Just for your info and Good Luck!  You'll need it.

Yes, it was a misprint.  Split-Screen Acheivements are Single player T-Hunt.

Re: Splitscreen Terrorist Achievements:
Thankyou for the post in pointing out you can do it in single player. I completed all maps in little under an hour on realistic and low density. May i point out that it is alot easier if you just use a shield and you have either raging bull or desert eagle for one hit kills. Keep your back untouchable by holding up in rooms with one door or having your back up against 1 so they can't open it behind you. Also the game makes it so when you get down to 8 Terrorists they all spawn and try to rush you. Try to get into a room with one door or a good position where your back can't be hit and pick em off. Happy hunting.

Splitscreen Terrorist Achievements:
My advise: don't use the shield, so that the achievement would actually mean something. All it takes is endless frustration and some enginuity. Recommended equipment: two submachineguns equiped with reflex scopes, frag grenades and incendiaries.Whisper [:-*]
