He seems like a great fit for the Rockets. He shoots well, rebounds good, and can drop 3 pointers.

Based on their summer league play, Dorsey and Budinger make the team.  White should not.  Reports were he -- like Taylor -- was waaaaaay inconsistent ... and that White looked far greener than he should've.

Yao to have surgery.  "If all goes well ... he could return to basketball activity in six months."  Likely out all of next season.

I still feel like we need to get rid of McGrady.  We'll be awful this season and he's obviously our best chance of competing NOW ... but NOW can't be next year.  The NBA is far too stacked.

James White should make the team and Budinger should. Dorsey should be left out because Landry, Scola, and Hayes are much better.

Andre Miller is old now and I just want to make the playoffs. Maybe a 4 or 5 seed. I refuse to believe that a team that went 2-2 against the world  champions without Yao and Tmac and Deke will just give up. We will make an impact this season. I can't wait to see how Tmac and Andersen perform.

It's actually the same team that got Linas Kleiza and Josh Childress. He is going to play there one year and then come back to the NBA. He will go over there and dominate and come back better than ever. I wish him the best and hope to see him in a Rockets uniform in 2 years.

Now I just have to find a website that posts games of this greek team.

And to clarify why he went to Greece, it was because it was the best offer he got. He was getting many offers from teams. He got offers from the Suns, Knicks, and Rockets to name a couple. But in these bad economic times, he had to take the offer.

I guess I kinda like the Pops signing.  But I was hoping that, upon pulling up his #s, he'd be some sort of shot blocking master.  Alas, he is not, averaging less than 1 block a game per 48 minutes.

And if he's 6'10, then Chris Bosh is really like 7'2 because there is a clear size difference when the two stand next to one another, at least in the footage I saw.

Still he appears to be a strong rebounder and real physical around the basket  Strong -- not high, but strong -- leaper.

Pops used to play for the Spurs, only played in garbage time at the end of games. He's nothing special, but he will add depth to the Rockets thin 4 + 5 spots.
