Tower Bloxx Deluxe is hopefully coming soon to XBLA as there is a video now available for download on the Marketplace.

In addition to that theres a launch page on the dashboard under the Games Marketplace tab called "Coming Soon To Xbox Live" or something like that. Under the arcade section it has this week's releases (Sam and Max 2 and Axel & Pixel) along with Tower Bloxx Deluxe and Panzer Generals. I'm guessing those two will be next week's games. Not really interested in either.

The Coming Soon To Xbox Live bit also has tabs in it listing upcoming DLC, Games On Demand and more.

Where is this tab? I don't see it underneath the Games Marketplace Tab. Under that is "My Xbox". Inside the tab is no option for "Coming Soon". Maybe it's only in the US? I would love to have a tab of "Coming Soon" that would be awesome...

Yeah, it may be US only. But you would see it if you scrolled to right of the Games Marketplace channel.

Two adventure games this week, Axel&Pixel and Sam And Max 2. Seems like a poor idea releasing two games in the same genre at the same time imo.

I agree. I was also surprised about this. XBLA used to be scheduled better but nowadays we get two fighting games in a row (Garou, King of Fighters) , two shooters on the same day (cellfactor, wolfenstein), and now two point and click adventure games on the same day.

i have to disagree, at least with the point and clicks.  there are only two before the release of these two.  they've effectively doubled the point and click/adventure genre in one day!  i think it's awesome!

definitely picking up sam and max!  gonna check out axel & pixel.  haven't heard much about it...

From Major Nelson's Podcast: This Wednesday on XBLA will be Panzer General: Allied Assault (800 pts) and Tower Bloxx Deluxe (800 pts). DLC for Magic The Gathering (400 pts). Deal of the Week: Golf Tee It Up (400 pts instead of 800).

DOTW is RE5 DLC for everyone but Japan, they get the Golf Game for 1/2 off instead.

$15?!?!?  man, that is a rip off!  this mode should have been included in the game.  at the very least it should be $10 like it's nhl counterpart.  i wonder if it's only going to have 2 teams with 1 gameplay option as well?

okay, it does have all the teams, so that's kinda cool.  and honestly, i probably would have skipped the $60 version of madden in favor of this and backbreaker!

it's kind of lame though and doesn't even say what's coming soon. lol it only showed what was released this week. o.O

Re: This Week's XBLA Game

I have a prediction. Better XBLA Titles will come out in Fall/Winter 2009/2010 than Spring/Summer 2009.

Spring and Summer had BF1943, Trials HD, Shadow Complex, and Splosion Man.

Fall already had Defense Grid, South Park, and Zombie Acolopyce (sp), and Madden Arcade, Lead and Gold, and Toy Soldiers are set to come out in winter.

I'd have to agree. Raystorm HD, King of Fighters Skystage, Lead and Gold, Doom II, Serious Sam HD, Call of Duty Classic (comes with Call of Duty MW2 HE...won't be available on XBLA as a separate game for a while according to Infinity Ward) all look great and should be coming down the tubes in the upcoming months.

Summer Of Arcade had some great games in it, but theres alot coming out soon that looks even better. I'm also still sore over how awful KOF98UM and Garou were this summer. Those were the games I wanted most on XBLA to play my friends on, but I haven't touched the games since I've bought them because they're unplayable online.

After two adventure games, one strategy game and one puzzle game I'm hoping theres something action-oriented or more exciting this week, but as discussed earlier, the planning on XBLA is a little wonky/weird nowadays.

IGN has something called Collesseum Hammerball along with Wallace and Gromit episode 4 coming out. I didn't think episode 2 or 3 were even out yet.

Hopefully they're wrong and we get a break from the adventure games.

OXM really wants a rebuffed Halo: CE with better graphics and xboxlive MP. I'd have to agree for that, anyone else?

I have been wanting that since Halo 3 came out. I don't even care if it doesn't have Multiplayer. I would settle for Halo CE Campaign with supporting online co-op, Halo 3 graphics, Theater mode with abilities to save and watch replays and take pictures etc.

I would love to have a Halo Trilogy Set with Halo 1 and 2 redone in Halo 3 graphics with those supporting features. Multiplayer would be a bonus but I personally wouldn't care if they stripped it out or not. I would just like to have a nice package all on the same system without this backwards compatibility stuff to have to go through. It would be nice.

Still just slated as "Winter". Could still come out this year, maybe early next year.
