Just listened to Major Nelson's podcast.... the 3 new Wallace and Gromit games this week, no Gyromancer :(

We still may get it. I remember one week when Major announced that only MLB Stickball was releasing. Then on that Wednesday, Beat N Groovy and Tenchu Shadow Assault joined MLB Stickball even though nothing was mentioned about them prior. Hopefully Gyromancer sneaks out as well because I'm sick of Wallace and Vomit!

Wow K4rn4ge. That's a pretty harsh comment. What made you dislike the game series so much after the first episode?

It's not my type of game. I know its a high quality game but just not my cup of tea. I just wish they would release other games along with it and not just all point and click games in the same week. We need more variety. Also, if you are wondering why I have Wallace Part 1, I buy ALL XBLA games regardless (I am a hardcore collector/competitor).

Damn, wish I could buy every game. Wallace and Gromit isn't my cup of tea either man.

Loyal fan to XBLA are you? Smile [:)]
If they did not have achievements and Gamerscore, think of all the money you could save. Buying games you don't like just for competition is not my thing, but I applaud you for forcing yourself to try and play games that you normally would not play. : )

I do like point and click games (Syberia and Still Life on the old Xbox were phenomenal games), but Wallace and Gromit I never could get into.

Anyways, I'm patiently looking forward to Magicka and Hydrophobia. They seem amazing...

800 points each. I'm looking forward to the episodes. I loved the first one and I got bummed out when the last one was delayed.

COD1 is exclusive to the Hardened and Prestige Editions of Modern Warfare 2 for an unknown amount of time. They haven't announced when it will come to XBLA, but don't expect it as soon as MW2 is out (ie next week) or soon thereafter.

Re: This Week's XBLA Game
Anybody think they should do a 'Winter of Arcade' like they do in the summer SoA?  Perfect Dark is a great game to package such a thing around.   I'd expect to see Joanna on December 23rd.  If she shows up any earlier, I'd be very surprised and pleased.

They did one in the Spring and one in the Summer, I doubt with all the big retail releases this and next month they'll do another one in 2009. I'm sure it'll be at least a yearly event, though.

Then I really have issues as I have over 750 games on my gamercard. The Wallace and Gromit games are good games and easy achievements as well. k4rnage has got to keep up on the leaderboards too for XBLA :-)

Way to much....I don't try to think about it. I have some old pictures on x360a with photos of them all. That Gyromancer game looks like a good bit of fun and challenge, can't wait for that one this week.

And I thought I had a 'lot' of XBLA games at nearly 70.

I think Gyromancer comes out the 19th.  Or was it the 18th..

This Wednesday is 0D Beat Drop and Encleverment Experiment for 800 pts each. Also if you get the hardened or prestige editions of Modern Warfare 2, you will get the token to download Call of Duty Classic for XBLA (it will be released separately on marketplace in the near future).

Disappointing, but I might be interested enough in 0D Beat Drop to at least give the trial a chance.

0d Beat Drop (wtf kind of a name is that anyway), Encleverment Experiment and NBA Unrivalled this week. NBA Unrivalled will be 1200 points while EE and 0D Beat Drop will be 800 a piece.

Also Call of Duty Classic will be available for those who get the Hardened/Prestige Editions of Modern Warfare 2.
