Hints? Anyone?

I dunno, I just feel like I am not playing this game the right way...

I make a set every couple seconds and go as fast as I can but the screen still fills up faster than I can do it...

Any tips or hints from anyone, or does anyone know of any videos for this?

Re: Hints? Anyone?

Best tip I can offer you is use the left and right trigger buttons. Helps move from one side of the screen to the other.

Yeah, this is one of the most helpful things and its ironic that its not even mentioned in the game.

I usually use it, but sometimes when things start going to fast I don't remember to use it. It isn't intuitive yet for me...

I made a video of me getting 21 million.  You could probably learn a thing or two from that.

Re: Hints? Anyone?
I had no idea you could use the triggers for getting to the other side of the screen.  Thanks for that tip.  This game seems so hard to me...but it could be that I'm just used to every game being so easy these days.  I love astropop, now I gotta go home and try to use the triggers!

Use the special bricks to your advantage. The bricks that destroy everything vertically should be used to destroy the virus bricks before they have a chance to spread, or to get at the bricks that destroy all same color bricks. When you are given the brick that destroys everything horizontally, find a row with multiple stone/metal bricks and remove a piece.

Check You-Tube... there is a bunch of video's that some people recorded with FRAPS on their PC's, some of the guides are actually pretty interesting.

As some of them have said, Use the triggers, if you aren't comfortable using them, try to use atleast one of them to speed up some, and use a button to pick up.

Use the Bumpers to quickly move from left to right to avoid taking up too much time.

In survival mode, use turbot, his Supa is great, it knocks out some bricks to give you enough space to come back, but it also freezes the screen for a short period of time, and regenerates in like a minute or and a half or so.

When you see Freeze blocks take the advantage and use them for the maximum ammount of time.

For puzzles keep playing and gradually you will get the concept, there are a lot of puzzles in the game, and you only need to solve 10, remember you have a minute, that's more than enough time. Also there are 10 very easy puzzles in the game.

A glitch that you need to worry about is the Ace Astropopper not showing up. If you are going to beat the game with all of the characters, make sure VIX (the purple one) is NOT last, The acheivement will not show up and you will have to rebeat the game with them all without using check points

for cosmic overlord use the red guy, he can clear the screen of bricks more than 6 times if the supa is used properly and you will get the achievement for clearing the screen 5 times and you will get a helpful bonus.

If you need anymore help Just message me, I'll gladly chat with you to help you.

Another thing for the puzzles. Before you move a brick you can just about make out the puzzle behind the onscreen text. So you can kind of work it out beforehand =). And for me Sprocket is best in Survival as her SUPA recharges in the least time (1 minute if she is maxed out). But Turbot is also good! Dont wait till the screen is full and your screwed before using the SUPA, it'll no doubt not remove hardly anything and then your totally a gonner! With Sprocket (at around 8 minutes plus when i first need the SUPA) i'll usually use it even when i dont need to and when the bricks are about 1/2 the way down. This way pretty much the whole screen will be cleared and you can get access to any problematic bricks at the top that are spawning (like metal/viral bricks). By the time you're in trouble again, Sprockets SUPA will be recharged.
